Welcome to Our Walloon Lake Cottage Hello, and thank you for taking the time to view our cottage. My name is Scott Hutchinson, and I feel blessed to call Walloon Lake my lifelong home. I spent the first 24 years here in the village, and now, with my wife, son, and daughter, each visit is filled with new memories, stories, and the same family traditions that have made this place special for three generations. The space Walloon Lake has always been an integral part of my life — one of those rare places that’s hard to describe until you’ve experienced it firsthand. The lake’s history, spanning six to seven generations of families in the village and along its shores, makes it truly one of the most special places in the world. Family and friends come together here in a way that can only be understood by spending a summer in Walloon. Growing up here full-time was one of the best childhoods anyone could imagine. The nostalgia runs deep — long days on the lake tubing and water skiing, quiet afternoons on the porch reading or playing board games, and warm evenings spent watching the sun set over the water. There’s never a moment when Walloon isn’t on our minds, and as each summer ends, the countdown to the next one always begins. Guest access Arrival Instructions Upon arrival, please use the back patio entrance to enter the cottage through the mudroom using the access code provided. During the winter months, entry through the mudroom (via the back patio door) is required, as the front porch is enclosed with winter canvas and only accessible from the inside. In the summer months, you may enter through either the front porch or the back patio/mudroom area — whichever is most convenient.
