The space The homestead (circa 1912), now tastefully renovated, is nestled amongst grand mature fig trees & surrounded by long sweeping lawns. Guests can relax on the daybed, soak in the sunset, play sports on the lawns, get together around the firepits, make wood-fired pizza, cast a line or drop a crab pot from the jetty, snuggle by the fireplace, or enjoy long lazy lunches on the verandah. Children will love the play-fort, ping pong table, croquet, darts, and board games. Launch your kayak or moor your boat to Katandra's private jetty (not suitable for fixed keel yachts). Designed to accommodate a maximum of 8 people. Ideal for a few families to get together. The homestead itself features three bedrooms: two queen bedroom suites & a third bedroom with two single beds. All bed linen is provided and on arrival you will find the beds made and ready for you. The kitchen & bedrooms open out onto the wide country style verandah. Views sweep across the property, down to the waterfront & out over the lake itself. Elegant entrance hall, open plan living, quality furnishings, polished timber floors, beautiful towels, quality bed linen, luxurious floor coverings & cosy throw rugs. If you require a 4th bedroom there is a quaint 'sleep-out' separate from the main homestead **EXTRA CHARGE FOR SLEEP OUT $75/100 (off-season/peak-season)PER NIGHT**. The 'sleep-out' offers another queen bedroom suite with gorgeous lake and farm views. Guest access Homestead Kitchen is fully equipped . Dining table, crockery, cutlery & glassware to entertain 8 people. Modern, well appointed kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, large gas oven & 5 burner stove top. The Homestead lounge area features wood burning fire place, ample seating, plenty of cushions, 54" Panasonic flat screen digital TV. Also available are, numerous board games, books & magazines. Internal laundry with front loading washing machine & clothes dryer. Fully self-contained boutique accommodation, the only thing you need to bring with you is food & wine.
