Please note that access involves some steps and inclines, but the location is well worth it for easy slope access. The chalet is located near the village center. Please note, access to the chalet requires climbing some slopes/steps, but the big advantage is that the ski slope is almost at your doorstep. 🧺 Bed Linen & Towels These are not included, but you can rent them for €18 per person. It’s a convenient option! 🎿 Winter; Charming Ski Village with Everything Nearby Oz-en-Oisans is a compact but lively ski village with all the necessary amenities within walking distance. You’ll find cozy restaurants, pizzerias, cafés, a supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, an ESF ski school, and even childcare. You won’t need a car during your stay. The village is part of the large Alpe d’Huez ski area, with modern gondolas and ski lifts connecting you to 250 km of slopes. For the true adventurers, there’s even Le Tunnel and La Sarenne - the longest black run in Europe! ☀️ Summer in the Mountains Oz-en-Oisans is also a fantastic destination in summer! Enjoy the mountains your way – active, adventurous, or totally relaxed. • Cycling & MTB Climb legendary cols (Alpe d’Huez, Glandon, Croix-de-Fer, etc.) or explore 269 km of MTB trails via the gondolas. • Hiking Beautiful hiking routes start right at the chalet. Paragliding is also available! • Relaxation Unwind on the terrace, take in the view, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and enjoy the local cuisine. 📅 Seasons & Opening Times The facilities in the village are open in winter (Dec-April) and summer (July-August). During the Alpe d’HuZes, the lifts are operating. In 2025, the Poutran lift will be closed for renovation during the summer. Outside the main season, it’s quieter, but perfect for hiking and enjoying nature.
