This charming cape code style home has been lovingly updated with modern comforts and conveniences, with beautifully renovated kitchen and baths, and hardwood floors throughout. Vintage, antiques and local artisan pieces complement the Amish-made tables and Italian leather couch. High speed wireless Internet is provided. There are two TV's and a stereo system. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials to make great meals at home. There is a cafe table and chairs, refrigerator/freezer, range/oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, coffeemaker, toaster, blender and crockpot. Coffee beans, a grinder, and tea bags and basic seasonings are provided. A gas BBQ is available for outdoor grilling. This home has 3 queen-size beds to sleep up to 6. In addition an airbed can be available to sleep an additional 1 or 2 guests. . MAIN LEVEL: Living room, dining room, kitchen, one bedroom with queen-size bed, and a half-bath. UPPER LEVEL: 2 bedrooms each with a queen-size bed, and a full bathroom with a tub/shower. LOWER LEVEL: Large family room with TV. Laundry room with washer and dryer, ironing board and iron. All sheets and towels are white or light colored. Included are hair dryers, makeup mirror, soaps, shampoo and conditioner, kleenex, paper towels, napkins, etc. There are games, puzzles and books, as well. Guests have the use of the entire home, 3 levels. Digital keypads on exterior doors make it easy for guests to enter and leave the home without having to worry about taking a key. The keypads work well for self-check. Check-in is 4:00pm or later. Check-out is 11:00am. Please notify Teri when you have arrived and as you are checking out. Two cars may be parked in the driveway, and there is off-street parking for additional cars. There is a small single garage where you can park a couple of motorcycles or store bikes and other recreational gear. Holy Cow is our family guest home, owned by myself (Teri) and my brother, Mike. We love to be able to walk to the Glarner Stube, Kristie's, Puempels Olde Tavern, music at Tofflers, Fat Cat Coffee Works, and Sugar River Pizza. New Glarus Brewing and Bailey's Run Winery, both a must-see when visiting the area, are just a 5 minute drive. Edelweiss Chalet Country Club & Golf is just a 10 minute drive. No need for a vehicle in New Glarus. You can walk everywhere from this property. If you want to bike, it is just a couple of blocks to the Sugar River State Trail. Bikes are available for rent at the Chamber of Commerce. EPIC - VERONA: Just a 20-minute scenic drive to Epic, while enjoying gorgeous views of lush green valleys and hillsides, farms, barns, and cows. New Glarus is a great place to base your vacation. It is centrally located in the Driftless region of Southwestern Wisconsin. From here there are many quaint little towns and villages to explore. 30 minutes to Madison. The closest commercial airport is the north-side of Madison, about 45 minutes. - 2-night minimum (Friday & Saturday must be reserved together). -Holy Cow Guest Haus is licensed with the State of Wisconsin. Airbnb will collect and submit 5.5% room tax for the State of Wisconsin and a 5% room tax for the Village of New Glarus. -Families welcome. Children are considered guests. There is no additional fee for infants under 2 years. Please take into consideration there are 2 sets of stairways in the home - one to the basement and the other to the upper level bedrooms and bathroom.
