"Le Bocage" Normandy house for 2 to 8 people

Our pretty 130 m2 Normandy house in the countryside, renovated in 2020, will welcome you for a vacation with friends and family. This bright cottage with fireplace and private garden is located on our 1 ha property. Located 5 minutes from the expressway, 10 minutes from Dieppe and 30 minutes from Rouen, it will allow you to visit the main tourist attractions very easily. Plus we are 10 minutes from the beaches. Our animals and the ones we collect will delight the children! The space I welcome you to my typical Normandy gîte. Its private garden with terrace overlooks the property, fruit trees, goat enclosures (which like you sleep at night!). More concerned about the future of our planet, our cottage is completely water self-sufficient. Indeed it is supplied thanks to rainwater filtered by UV lamps without chemicals. (a drinking water tank is installed in the kitchen which can be used by the whole family). The house is heated before your arrival and during your stay at no extra cost by wall heaters. If you want the fireplace, you will be asked for 10 euros for 1 wheelbarrow of wood (i.e. 1 evening of fire) with the small wood to light it! The number of bedrooms will depend on the number of guests. Either 2 people/1 bedroom; 4 people/2 bedrooms. 6 people/3 bedrooms. Now 1 bedroom has 3 beds. As a result, if there are 3 children they will all sleep in the same room. The sheet, towel and basic necessities package is not included on BNB and you will be asked on arrival for 10 euros per person (5 euros per child/free for babies). The beds will be made... all you have to do is go to bed!! This package is mandatory because I want my present and future guests to sleep in the best possible conditions. Basic necessities installed and towels for everyone. For the cleaning fee, there is none because we count on the good manners of our guests to make the house tidy as it was on arrival, dishes done (dishwasher tablets provided), garbage taken out (bag provided), sheets removed from beds... If the cleaning time should exceed the time allotted, a supplement may be requested (I do not do your dishes, 😉 clean up your mess or your accidents). This house is yours for a while... but be aware that other guests sometimes arrive 4 hours after your departure. I'm not a fairy!!! Unfortunately! The accommodation includes a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, 1 fridge, oven, washing machine, coffee machine, iron). A large living room with 2 sofa beds, TV table for 8 and fireplace overlooking a 35 m2 terrace with small garden. The toilet is separated from the shower room. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms are equipped with separate beds that can be pushed together (one with 3 beds and another with 2). The 3rd bedroom includes a double bed (160 cm). The door to the outside (locked) of the floor is in a bedroom but this one opens into the house! In the hallway overlooking the bedroom, a reading corner will welcome young and old. It has 2 armchairs that can turn into extra beds (preferable for children). The baby cot is set up in a bedroom. It's up to you to tell me in advance if you want it with you. High chair, baby phone and small inflatable plastic bathtub. Many hiking trails are accessible to everyone. No pets allowed in our cottage. The house is non-smoking. An ashtray is available on the terrace. We own animals including small goats, baby goats collected in 2020 and 2021 after rescue as well as chickens. Sometimes you can see donkeys, ponies and horses because we are a "welcoming garden" for an organization. Children can enjoy the swing installed in the communal garden while you play pétanque! If you want to arrive from 1 p.m. or leave by 1 p.m. ... sometimes it's easier when you're on a wedding, this is possible but a request in advance (it's not always possible to satisfy everyone) will have to be made and a package of 20 euros for the whole group will be requested on arrival Guest access The cottage is for you only and has its own access. One-way street for check-in, you won't be able to get lost. The garden is enclosed by embankments and you can easily park inside the garden because the cottage has its own entrance and private parking spaces attached to the cottage. Motorcycles can also be sheltered if you wish. We have plenty of land so travelers in traffic or by truck can park in the garden without problems :) Other things to note There is no cleaning fee. I'll let you put everything back in its place, clean the dishes, remove the sheets from the beds, empty the barbecue, the fireplaces and the ashtrays; take out the garbage. We simply rely on good manners, trust and mutual respect. For the use of the fireplace, this is decorative since the heating is in all the rooms. If you want a wooden wheelbarrow (10 euros per wheelbarrow) just let me know when booking. Note that in these 10 euros you have clean sheets installed on your beds, all the necessary products (salt, pepper, coffee, tea, cleaning products, chocolate, coffee, tea towels, sugar-coated almonds, dishwasher, toilet paper) which will facilitate your trip, especially if you stay 1 night, heating in each room... and throughout the house :) But for reasons of energy saving and limiting electricity consumption, the number of rooms will be open according to the number of guests.
