Big Pine Retreat is a 40 acre hidden gem in the heart of hocking hills. Tucked into the deep woods, we are nestled between state forest and two hollows. You can hike from your cabin directly to 21 Horse Cave, Airplane Rock and Long Hollow Waterfall. Each cabin is privately situated and provides a quiet, peaceful getaway. And our location is ideal, only one mile from Conkle's Hollow and 4 miles from Old Man's Cave and Whispering Cave. Wyandot is perfectly situated on 35 wooded acres, 4 miles from Old Man's Cave and 1 mile from Conkle's Hollow. Awesome decks and porches. Completely secluded and hiking trails are right outside your door. Wifi, DirecTV and pet friendly. entire cabin Big Pine Retreat is 40 acre oasis, with waterfalls, caves and thick woods for guests to explore. Rock formations are amazing on the property. We have direct access to areas like 21 Horse Cave, Chapel Falls and Airplane Rock. You can hike to these amazing sites directly from your cabin. The property climbs more than 900 feet, starting roadside all the way to the peak. Our driveway is a mix of pavement and gravel. The pavement is on the steep sections, with gravel on the flatter areas. All cabins are located on flat, easy to walk plots. We recommend a powerful vehicle and if weather is inclement, 4WD or AWD is most helpful. Your cabin will have all the modern amenities you would hope for in a getaway cabin. Our goal is to offer rustic cabin experiences with high quality at an affordable price. We have one, two, three and five bedroom options so we can host a couple along with small and large families. The cabins are spread out over the 40 acres, each in a private setting. Only Delaware and Mingo are visible to each other, and only during the winter months when leaves have fallen. Wyandot cabin is located in the heart of Hocking Hills, one mile from Conkle's Hollow and 4 miles from Old Man's Cave and Whispering Cave. The cabin is located deep in the woods, and is completely secluded and private. The cabin is surrounded by woods on all sides and offers hiking trails right outside your front door. Pets are welcome! Fee is $20 each night. We limit our furry friends to 2 per night. Most roads in the area of the cabin are very well maintained, but can be curvy and steep. Our cabins have a long, steep gravel driveway. While it is routinely maintained, it can be bumpy or slippery at times. We STRONGLY recommend all-wheel or four-wheel drive during snowy or inclement weather. If you are a nervous driver, we recommend all year-wheel or four-wheel drive everyday! The secret is to stay on the gas as you climb the driveway. Guests routinely go up/down in small cars but we want you to be prepared. Occasionally, appliances, hot tubs, fireplaces, etc. can malfunction. We will service and restore these amenities as quickly as we can, but will not make any rental concession for time without these items. Likewise, loss of electricity, water, or other "Acts of God" that are outside of our control will not result in a refund of any monies paid. Due to cleaning and servicing, hot tubs are not always up to full temperature at the time of your arrival and may need several hours to heat. We ask that you follow all guidelines and policies regarding use of amenities in order to keep them functioning at peak efficiency. In the event of an early departure for any reason, we cannot give any refund. Also, there will be no refund for inclement weather. You must be 21 years of age or older to rent a cabin. Renter agrees to abide by the following rules and regulations and understands that violating any of the following are grounds for immediate eviction and forfeiture of all rates paid. Possession of firearms or weapons is prohibited on the premises. Possession of any illegal substances is prohibited. Please do not break off branches from trees for firewood. All children must be under competent adult supervision at all times. Occupancy may not exceed the number agreed to in the reservation. Be cautious with chlorine-soaked clothing which discolors and disintegrates furniture and carpet. Check-out time is 11:00 A.M. We cannot offer early arrival, as we are cleaning an entire home and servicing a hot tub within a tight window of time. Additionally, we have only one cleaning crew and they have multiple cabins to turn. Thank you for your understanding
