Le Vigne - Villa overlooking Etna

Magnificent villa, facing Europe's highest active volcano. The villa is located within the Etna Park: a perfect location to discover Sicily from a naturalistic point of view. The main Etna refuges and several adventure parks are just a short trip away. The location is perfect for walking the beautiful trails that branch off around the volcano. In addition, the Rifugio Sapienza cable car station is 25 km away: the access point to the central crater. The space Le Vigne is a beautiful villa nestled in the vineyards on the slopes of Mount Etna. The original construction dates back about 100 years and underwent several renovations at the end of the last century. It has recently been modernized to ensure its guests all modern comforts such as an air conditioning system for heating and cooling the rooms, a Wi-Fi connection fast enough to work or have fun, a new kitchen (renovated in 2022) and fully equipped (with induction cooktop, oven and a Nespresso coffee machine), a washing machine, a barbecue and even a wood-burning oven in the back of the house. Le Vigne is also particularly attentive to sustainability. Resources like water are very important, especially on an island, which is why 100% of the water used in the villa is rainwater, carefully collected and purified. The water heating system is also totally sustainable, thanks to solar energy. Our goal is to achieve total sustainability, both from an energy and environmental point of view. The location of the house is unique and allows you to have a magnificent and privileged view of Etna. From the terrace you can admire the spectacular eruptions of Europe's highest volcano in total safety and enjoy an unparalleled wonder. The house is fully equipped with everything you need for both long and short stays. The property features a 40" Full HD Smart TV with full access to Netflix. Several fruit trees are scattered around the house: feel free to pick and eat these fruits to make your stay even more authentic. (Fruit availability depends on the time of year).
