Sympathetically renovated, and standing detached, it lies on the owners’ working sheep and beef farm, close to the historic market towns of Framlingham and Saxmundham, and offers a great holiday base from which to enjoy good cycling and walking. The Suffolk Heritage Coast is close by and Aldeburgh, Thorpeness and Southwold are all within easy reach. The RSPB reserve at Minsmere is a very popular stop along the coast, along with Dunwich, ‘The Lost City’, which was lost to the sea, and whose ruins are visible from the shoreline. Beach 10 miles.
