Stretch out on a living room sofa to enjoy a good movie or show on the mounted flatscreen TV as the kids take advantage of the private playground next door. Use the free WiFi to to work from home—or better yet, research a new recipe, pick up your groceries from The Farm Store (six miles north), and let your creativity shine in the spacious full kitchen where you'll find all the cookware and granite counter space you need to make something wonderful. You'll be a quick walk from the Highlands Lift (also home to the resort’s ski school for the kids!), so you can spend your days skiing the fantastic winter slopes, coming home to enjoy a hot fire in the gas fireplaces (located in the living room and the master bedroom), or taking relaxing dips in the community's heated pool. Summer guests will love catching up on a favorite novel on the deck or the balcony just outside. This home enjoys a king-size bed in the main bedroom, while the second bedroom boasts two twins and a queen. In addition, the living room has a queen-size sofabed. Whether you're here for the amazing winter skiing or just some quiet time with the family, this home is sure to put a smile on everyone's face! What's nearby: This vacation rental is located on the property of Smugglers’ Notch Resort, so you'll enjoy access to some of the finest skiing and snowboarding in the eastern United States. Beginners will love taking it easy on Curley's Cutback and Midway, while advanced skiers can shred Birch Run and Ruthie's. There are ski runs for everyone here, with access to beginner (green), intermediate (blue), and advanced (black diamond) terrain available. Ski school and private lessons are also available for kids (and adults too)! After a day on the slopes, enjoy an après-ski meal at one of the resort’s on-site restaurants, such as Hearth & Candle. During other seasons, you’ll be just minutes from one of the region’s top disc golf courses, hiking trails, one of the nation’s best ziplines, and a variety of other outdoor activities. Numerous mountain biking trails are located a short ride away as well. In winter and summer, let the free, on-demand shuttle take you anywhere on the resort property, including to the slopes, multiple restaurants, a pizzeria, a convenience store, and even a local Ben & Jerry’s, all located within a short drive in the Smugglers’ Notch village. In the summer, lace up your sneakers and access the village on foot via the convenient walking trail (though the shuttle is still available if you'd rather take it easy). Hikers will love being a short drive from Vermont’s tallest peak, Mount Mansfield, and other great hiking and walking trails. Bikers and runners will find the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, New England's longest rail trail at a whopping 93 miles in length, only 14 miles away. You can also see the whole area in a new way with Lamoille Valley Bike Tours or by paddling a canoe or kayak down the Lamoille River. In addition to on-site shopping and dining located at Smugglers’ Notch, this home is located a short drive from the town of Jeffersonville, home to scrumptious breakfasts at 158 Main and local products at the Farm Store. Those visiting outside of the winter months will be a 28-mile drive through “The Notch” from the quaint town of Stowe, where you can explore the grounds of the famous Von Trapp Family Lodge, tee it up at Stowe Country Club, and take in the views at Stowe Mountain Resort. (Stowe Mountain Resort is only 4.5 miles away in the summer and fall, but once snow hits, Route 108 is closed until the snow melts in spring. Things to know: *Please note that although this condo is located on the property of Smugglers’ Notch Resort, this home does not participate in the Smugglers’ Notch Resort Rental program. Stays at this condo do not include certain amenities and activities offered by the resort. For access to these optional amenities and activities, guests of this home may purchase a Daycation through Smugglers’ Notch Resort No dog(s) are welcome in this home.
