Typical stone house with simple decoration, nestled in a small village in the Black Mountain, 25 minutes from Carcassonne in absolute calm with stunning views of the forest. You will be lulled to sleep by the song of the river. The house has 5 beds, a south-facing terrace and allows you to spend pleasant moments with friends and family. Duvets, pillows and towels are available. Sheets, cleaning and wood not included. Supermarket 3 km away (Mas-Cabardes). No wifi or TV. The space Its small seating area and well-equipped kitchen are complemented by a fireplace. Remember to bring wood in cool periods, even if all the rooms have a radiator, it's always nice. The kitchen has a fridge, a medium-sized electric oven, a four-burner gas hob, a coffee maker, a toaster and all the necessary utensils. The rooms are simple and pleasant to live in. You have a double bedroom (140 X 190) on the first floor and two connecting bedrooms (a single 90 X 190, a double 140 X 190) on the second floor under the roofs. The bathrooms are also simple with a shower and separate toilet. Many children spend their holidays in the house. However, you must be careful on the stairs to the second floor and not run while using it. You can park your car(s) on the street in front of the house without worries. Linens are not provided (you have pillows, duvets and bath towels. Cleaning is your responsibility (you can however request the option for 40 euros). There is no television (only English channels) and no wifi for a real vacation without waves! The house is ideal for a relaxing vacation and its location allows you to go hiking from the house without taking the car. You will discover many charming villages within 10 minutes by car and you are a few minutes from the Lac des Montagnes (supervised beach, restaurants, children's games, fishing...). In thirty minutes by car you can go to the city of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi and its locks. Nearest airport: Carcassonne (25 km) and further away, Toulouse airport (115 km). Guest access Entire House. Other things to note The house may not be suitable for small children due to the terrace and stairs. Children under the age of 8 can, however, sleep with parents in the master bedroom on the 1st floor. An electric inflatable bed is available.
