The lodge is located in the village of Funtington with restaurants and pubs on its doorstep. Chichester is close by with its cathedral, shops and cafes, and it is perfectly located for Goodwood, world famous for its motor and horse racing events. This newly decorated barn features stylish furnishings and spans two floors. Enter the property into the open plan kitchen and living room which is a beautiful room for dining and relaxing with views out to the host's gardens. On the ground floor is also a walk-in shower room. The mezzanine floor boasts a spacious bedroom with charming beams, large windows and a glass balustrade creating a bright and peaceful sleeping space. Rest comfortably on the high-quality king-sized bed, complete with hotel-style linen and toiletries. Outside is a private sitting area perfect for enjoying a sun downer with views across the tended lawns and gardens of the host's property. We welcome pets to our property. Please ensure you review the "Pet" section under "Other things to note" before booking with your furry companion. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and the side patio garden. There is one allocated car parking space just outside the property and you enter via a shared driveway with the property's sister holiday home. There is a local bus service at the end of the road, with buses to Chichester. It is advisable to have a car to get around as this is a rural location. Other things to note Check In / Check Out Check in time is after 4pm and check out time is before 10am. Please can we ask that you check out on time to prevent any disruption to the cleaner's schedule. Please note a fee of £100 for lost keys and £50 for call outs if locked out. Pets One small, well behaved dog is welcome to join you on your holiday in the cottage, for an additional fee of £30 to cover extra cleaning. Please message in advance with the details of your pet (breed/age). - Dogs must be well behaved and house trained. - Please do not allow them upstairs or on the furniture. - Please clear up after them in the garden and around the property. - Muddy paws should be cleaned before they are allowed in the house. - Please do not leave them alone in the property.
