This private retreat is less than 20 miles to Loretta Lynn's Ranch and the Tennessee River. Be sure to visit the Plantation House at Loretta’s ranch and hear about the ghosts that reside there. Johnsonville State Historic Park boasts an amazing visitor’s center where you can learn about the Civil War battle that took place there, and hike along the Tennessee River. Then enjoy dinner at the Grey Heron (at Pebble Isle Marina) while you experience the sunset and the quiet lapping water. This is a manufactured home on permanent foundation sitting on 5.5 acres. There is plenty of parking available for boats and other trailers. Overlooking the woods, the back deck has a fire pit (for use with Duraflame logs - first one provided) and propane grill. For my four-legged guests, the small front yard is fenced. Fully furnished 3/2 including washer/dryer. Fiber Wi-fi and w/3 flat-screen TVs with Roku for streaming your own subscriptions. The house is also equipped with a Culligan water system. My guests have shared that they like that I live on the property, but away from the house. Full house, deck, and yard are available for use. This is a rural setting with no neighbors. Local information in the house. The house is only 3 miles from the city of McEwen, but this is a very small community - not even a traffic light. We do have a grocery store, Dollar General, a couple of restaurants, with good food and a pharmacy. Dickson is the closest larger city with all sorts of amenities and it is approximately 15-20 munites away. No public transportation on this area. BUSINESS TRAVELERS: There is pick up and drop off laundry service available. Business services such as a printer or other supplies are available - just ask. This location is about 20 minutes to major corporations such as Chemours, Matheson Gas, Scepter, OxyChem, as well as others. Looking for a special evening - I can provide a Farm to Table dinner and House Concert. I am a vegetarian and love finding local produce. I have bought from local farmers for years and love their knowledge and awesome recipes for the seasonal produce. I also partner with a local cattle farm that provides grass-fed beef for the carnivores among us (when available). One of my best friends is an award-winning singer/songwriter and will be involved in the experience both as a dinner guest and as the concert entertainment.
