Super Private Custom Built Home on 388 acres. The space This is a one-of-a-kind vacation rental because of the the large piece of property (388 acres) that is yours to use and explore. The house is a beautiful custom built home with hardwood cherry floors, two large redwood decks, four bedrooms and two baths, a family room, living room, dining room and is in one of the most beautiful locations that you can imagine. Located in the redwood belt you can enjoy miles of trails along cascading streams and little waterfalls that run through fern covered redwood forests. Swim in the pond, bike or hike along the trails. The quietness of the property is truly amazing and is like nothing you will find anywhere else. Have a quiet family reunion in one of the most beautiful pieces of property that you will ever visit. The custom built house was our home at one time and has many homelike qualities. There is a large play set for the children and a gas barbeque for entertaining. A beautiful creek runs past the front of the house and two ponds are on the property. One of the ponds is only 100 feet from the house. There are numerous species of wildlife including hawks, owls, pond turtles, river otters, and great blue herons to name a few. There are two decks, one is covered and faces the pond and the other faces a meadow with 250 year old oak trees. The kids can pitch a tent in the adjacent meadows and explore the forests and creeks while you lay in the hammock among the oak trees. This rental is as close to a wilderness adventure as you can get without actually having to rough it. Guest access The entire property is yours to explore. Other things to note Rate is 450 plus tax per night May 1 to October 15 and 350 plus tax per night October 16 to April 30. 300 dollar security deposit refunded after your stay. 195 plus tax cleaning fee per stay. Three night minimum especially on holidays but will accommodate shorter stays upon request when we can. More than 10 guests can be accommodated with owners agreement. There is an extra small charge for more than 10 guests. Camping in area surrounding house but no campfires. There are seven beds (two kings, three queens, two twins and a small sofa bed. One queen bed is in family room and not private. Sofa bed in living room is not private either. If you have more than twelve or thirteen people you will need to sleep on a couch or bring your own sleeping pads or air mattresses for the family room.
