We look forward to meet you. The space THE HOUSE We love our home! The property is spacious and has a contemporary feel. You will be able to hear the birds sing in the nearby trees, rest on the hammock on the back of our garden or just relax by the BBQ with friends or family. THE MASTER BEDROOM Whether it's after a toasty day at the beach, a thrilling ocean safari, or an aw inspiring mountain trail - the spacious queen size bed, dreamy mattress and ample storage space will help you feel right at home - with no suitcase in sight! THE BUNK BEDS In the Master Bedroom there's a rather unique feature. When renovating the house we converted a hard to reach storage area into an amazing horizontal double bunk beds. Although we love the view and ambiance from up there, the space will better suit children under 16. But no judgments here! THE FAMILY ROOM This will probably be your first stop when arriving at your new home! For us personally this is one of the most special areas in the house. It brings together great natural lighting, a roomy corner couch, a 55 inch 4K TV, dinning area and access to the loft. THE LOFT This amazing space is accessible through the family room and benefits from the same natural light. Its wooden floors, generous amount of pillows, blankets and bean bags over a queen size futon mat, make it our personal favorite area in the home. It has that reclusive atmosphere that makes it feel like it's an experience on its own. THE KITCHEN I'll just come out and say it: we LOVE to eat. As such, this is a real kitchen, filled with everything you'll need to cook your meals, if you so choose. That includes an electric oven, induction hob, fridge, microwave, pans and most utensils. We even throw in some salt and pepper! THE BATHROOM Please be careful when using the bathtub...there's a lot to see and do around the island and we don't want you to stay there your whole stay! The bidet isn't as addictive, but is still pretty handy. THE PATIO This might be it - the place you'll miss the most. We've lost count of the amazing evenings spent here under the beautiful azorean skies. That delicious barbecue, smoky pizza, crispy bread or the famous "Alcatra" are all possible in the "Palheiro da Avó". We have a table you can set up outside that sits 6 and a local partnership that shows you how to cook some of the most charismatic foods in Terceira using and authentic wooden stove. SURROUNDINGS By the right side of the house, there's an access ramp where up to 3 cars can be parked inside the property. The front of the property features a garden with a lot of trees and plants, including an endemic species (with means it cant be found anywhere else in the world). Please, feel free to step on the grass! Guest access Full property, which includes the house plus front garden, access ramp and patio with BBQ and wooden oven, on the back. Other things to note Our hot water supply is provided by a heat pump with a 250 liter deposit. That basically means that 4-5 average showers in quick succession will be assured. After that, the deposit will need to reheat the water, which might take a few hours. Registration Details 2890
