The space Casa Rural Villamoronta is a ground-floor studio-type accommodation for 2+ people, built in stone and wood with all amenities, located in a small mountain town surrounded by holm oaks, within the Hoces del Alto Ebro and Rudrón Natural Area, near the Covalagua Natural Area (cave of the French), the Tuerces Natural Area (karst complex), Peña Amaya and within the Las Loras Geopark. In the area, we can find numerous Romanesque and cave churches, some of them of special interest, museums, interpretation centers, dolmens, oil fields, astronomical observatory, (Atapuerca Museum site and archaeological park) etc... From the same town you can do hiking and mountain biking, it is an area of abundant fossils and you can do mycological activities, 15 kilometers away there is an intensive fishing lagoon (open every weekend of the year), it is strategically very well located, just 45 kilometers from Burgos, 30 kilometers from Aguilar de Campoo (Palentina mountain, swamp route) and one hour from the most beautiful beaches of Santander. The house has a fully equipped kitchen-living room: washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, induction cooktop, refrigerator, dishes and full kitchenware, blender, toaster, TV, DVD-audio and a single sofa bed. The bathroom with a 1.20 meter shower has a first aid kit and hairdryer. The bedroom with a 1.35 bed, closet and desk, free Wi-Fi Internet connection. In the house you can get information about the area and the different activities that can be done, board games and many more details. Bed linen, towels, free Wi-Fi Internet connection and heating from thermal emitters (blue heat). The garden terrace has garden furniture and ambient light. Without sacrificing urban comforts. Its small villages, its vegetation (oaks, beeches and holm oaks) make this Space a place of tranquility, calm and admiration. • Aguilar de Campoó (30 km away) Beautiful village with an impressive swamp and the seat of the Romanesque, where we can find all kinds of establishments, it is where the Palentina mountain begins, near Las Tuerces (Karst complex), Cueva de los Franceses and viewpoint of the Valderredible valley, with its small cave churches and its impressive Ebro river. • Orbaneja del Castillo (35 km away) A spectacular medieval village embedded between a few sickles. In the highest part, a river is born that runs through the village creating whimsical waterfalls.
