The space Casa Rural Villamoronta is a ground floor accommodation type studio for 2+squares, built in stone and wood with all the comforts, located in a small mountain town surrounded by oak mountains, within the Natural Space of the Hoces del Alto Ebro and Rudrón, near the Natural Space of Covalagua (cave of the French) of the Natural Space of the Tuerces(karst complex) of the Peña Amaya and inside the Geopark of Las Loras. In the area, we can find numerous Romanesque and rocky churches, some of them of special interest, museums, centers of interpretation, dolmens , oil fields, astronomical observatory,(Museum of Atapuerca site and archaeological park) etc... From the same population you can make hiking and mountain biking trails, it is an area of abundant fossils and you can do mycological activities, 15 kilometers away is an intensive fishing lagoon (open every weekend of the year), it is strategically very well located, just 45 kilometers from Burgos, 30 kilometers from Aguilar de Campoo(Palento mountain, route of the marshes) and an hour from the most beautiful beaches of Santander.
