Mirradong Cottage - stunning views!

Sit on the back verandah, listen to the bellbirds and watch the horses gallop across the incredible vista below. The cottage has a rustic, country feel with the original part being over 100 years old. Very close to local wedding venues and within cooee of the Blue Mtns Botanic Garden, cider sheds, National Park, apple picking, cafes and so much more! Kids play equipment and plenty of toys/books/DVDs. We are on the property but you will have complete privacy. Bortle 3 rating for star gazing! The space The cottage was originally the village shop, but has been extended and refurbished since then. It is a classic simple country style house, with a large verandah on two sides. The interior is furnished to create a cosy country feel. The slow combustion fire is very effective in keeping you warm in winter, and there is air conditioning for hot summer days. Guest access Guests will have access to the cottage and the grassy backyard. We are next door but the space is set up to offer optimum privacy. Other things to note There are no local supermarkets, the closest one being Kurrajong Heights IGA Xpress on the Bells Line of Road. This is a 20 min drive. I would advise you to stock up on items you want on your way up, either in Richmond or North Richmond. For essentials there is a service station in Bilpin that sells a few things.
