The nearby town of Willingen (about 15 km away) is known for its ski area with 17 km of slopes, 6 anchor lifts, 2 chair lifts and the cable car gondola "Ettelsberg", there is also a mountain bike park, summer toboggan run, karting and bowling center, climbing hall, lagoon adventure pool, wildlife park, ski world cup ski jump, ice sports hall, children's and wellness offers, numerous events, clubs, restaurants and much more.
