It is 10 miles west of Harrisonburg in the historic Shenandoah Valley; right along the beautiful Dry River; easy to access to the Riven Rock Park; a short drive up the mountain to Switzer Lake and the High Knob trailhead, where you get a bird's-eye view at High Knob Fire Tower, an observation deck located on the Virginia-West Virginia state line. It's also an easy drive to JMU and Down-town Harrisonburg. Come and explore Shenandoah Valley! The space Hongjie’s Cabin was renovated in 2020, open to Airbnb guests from December 2020. It is perfect for family or friends gatherings or your getaway. It offers 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, a dining room, a full bath and a living room with the brick fireplace. One queen size bed and one bunk bed are all made with nice linens. Enjoy your coffee/tea or wine or play foosball, or just sit down in the enclosed front porch or on the back deck in the woods or dance by the fire pit in the backyard. Come and sit quietly to hear the sounds of Mother Nature! We are animal-lovers and we usually travel with our dogs, too, so one or two clean dogs are welcome with prior approval & a fee of $25.00 per dog & $50.00 for two dogs for one stay. Please review policies regarding pets: You need to bring your dog's bed, food, and toys; dogs are not allowed to be on beds and couches; no scratching on the floors and furniture. Thank you for your understanding in advance! Guest access The cabin is easily access to with a couple of stairs to get to the front door; free driveway parking in front of the cabin. Other things to note • We’re doing our part to help our Airbnb guests stay safe by cleaning & disinfecting frequently touched surfaces (light switches, doorknobs, cabinet handles, remotes, etc.) so you can relax & enjoy your stay. • 3 night minimum to book all holidays, 2 night minimum for all non-holiday dates. Note on Corona Virus – We are taking extra precautions to sanitize all surfaces that may be touched.
