Grant, and Gen. William Tecumseh among other notables. In 1926, the hotel was razed by fire; in 1928, the present Beaux Arts-style building was constructed. Fast forward to today and bear witness to another remarkable transformation. City Club is home to 294 modern rental apartments and penthouses in the city’s CBD.
