Live large in Ashford's newest tiny home vacation rental. Built in 2021, this property was created with comfort in mind. On 1.8 private acres, you will enjoy peace and relaxation. Soak in the hot tub off the back porch watching the deer go by. Take the short 1.2 mile drive or walk to the entrance of Mt. Rainier skipping the traffic line that can be miles long. Relax, unwind, adventure... welcome to the mountain! This cozy tiny home has a lot to offer in it's 600 sq. ft! A/C, storage space, and the most comfortable couch with electric recliners are just a few of the features included for your comfort. While the main living area is on one floor, you must navigate five steps to enter the home. The 2nd bedroom is in a lofted area with 4' ceilings that is accessed by additional stairs. Please note that the railing from the loft to the main floor is lower than a conventional railing. This bedroom space is most suited to guests that can navigate the stairs, low ceiling, and safety precautions given the low railing. While the home may be tiny, the property is expansive. Sit out on the covered porch to take it all in. Venture onto the patio for a nightly fire or outdoor game. Soak in the new Bullfrog hot tub after your outdoor adventures. Grill dinner on the provided propane grill and eat under the trees at the outdoor patio table. WiFi was recently installed to our home. While we have the fastest speed available, please remember that speeds and reliability at the base of the mountain will be less reliable then in the city. For this reason, wifi availability is not guaranteed. We have a great collection of DVDs for family movie nights! Guests have access to the whole house, front deck, and yard off of front deck. We are available via Airbnb's messaging platform to assist before and during your stay. The Nisqually Park community is a secluded enclave of cabins and vacation rentals. We are the last turn before the entrance of Mt. Rainier. As such, you will skip the miles long traffic back up that occurs at Mt. Rainier each morning. A car is recomended when staying at this home. With that being said, the neighborhood is very walkable. There is also a trail that parallels the Nisqually River within walking distance of the house. Our home can accomodate two dogs. Please include pet details in your message when booking. The hot water heater in our tiny house is sufficient for 1-2 showers before needing to reheat. If you’re traveling with more than 2 guests it’s recommended to space showers apart . There are multiple locations in town to purchase firewood for the outdoor fire pit. We use the firewood vending machine outside of Jacob’s Barber. Do to the nature of our mountain location, our home may lose power during weather events. Outages typically last for 2-3 hours when this occurs. Flash lights and extra blankets are provided for these occurrences. When power is out, cooking options are limited. If a guest choses to check out during a power outage, a refund of the nightly fee will be provided. Guests choosing to keep their reservation will be charged the full booking amount.
