The Apple House is simple, comfortable, and quiet. In summer, nearby fields are fruiting with apples, elderberries, and wildflowers. Heat for the Apple House is generated by woodfire. Firewood is provided but guest is in charge of maintain fire. Knowledge of operating a woodstove is required. Electricity: Yes Bathroom: In the main house ~ 300m away. Beds: Twin bunk-bed PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING/PILLOWS OR REQUEST LINENS FOR $15 FEE. The space The walking trail to the treehouse is approximately 250 meters from the parking lot and other amenities. We do have carts for guests to borrow if you need to transport items from your car to the treehouse. Depending on the season, there may be mud or snow conditions en route so pack sturdy footwear. The tiny house has one full size mattress, and a twin mattress in the loft. Two guests are included in price. Fees apply for additional guests. Room comfortably sleeps 2-3 people. PLEASE NOTE: Sheets and bedding are not provided in base price. Guests may request linens for an additional $15. Electricity: Yes (Lamp and outlets) Heat: Yes (Wood Stove) Firewood is included. Bathroom: Outhouse, indoor bathrooms, and drinking water are available within a short walking distance. Indoor showers and indoor kitchen are available for a small additional fee. Outdoor kitchen is free for guests to use–it has electricity and running water, no cookware is supplied. Outdoor solar shower is free to use–enjoy open air views and warm water when the sun is shining! Guest access CHECK-IN: Check in is between 5pm and 9:00 pm. Check in at the main house #218 Streeter Rd - We reserve the right to charge an additional $1/minute after 9:05pm for a late arrival fee. Any fees accrued must be paid upon arrival. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but highly discourage late night arrivals at our remote location. Quiet hours after 10pm. Streeter Mountain Farm is an organic permaculture farm and community center nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. We offer a variety of lodging options including field and platform tent camping, vehicle camping, treehouses, school buses, and tiny houses. During your stay, we encourage you to explore the property. Streeter Mountain has its own mountain biking, xc skiing, and hiking trails in addition to our proximity to the White Mountains, and climbing at the Rumney crag. Our bike trails feature hand and machine-built features for riders of all skill levels. Visitors have access to our farm store, ponds, streams, communal fire pit and outdoor cooking areas. Farm animals, orchards and gardens create a unique experience. Wi-fi is available in our main building. We may have additional camping and lodging spots available that are not listed on the website. Please contact us directly to determine if there is additional vacancy. Fires only in communal fire pit across the street.
