Relax in our single family home located in the Town of Ithaca. We are only 1.5 miles from downtown Ithaca, but it is a world apart. Private lot with amazing lake views. Swim off our private dock and enjoy the lakeside firepit. Kayaks, canoe provided. Our heat and air conditioning work year round. We located near Finger Lakes Wineries, Cornell University, Ithaca College, Taughannock Falls, Buttermilk Falls, Ithaca Farmer's Market and the Commons. Launch your boat from nearby Treman Marina. Beautiful three bedroom single family home located in the Town of Ithaca with amazing lake views. We are only 1.5 miles from downtown Ithaca, but it is a world apart. Private lot with deck, dock, bar-b-que, lakeside fire pit, kayaks, canoes and life jackets. The kitchen has sliding glass doors with easy access to our lakeside exterior dining table. Cherry floors, granite countertops, pendant lights, dishwasher, garbage disposal, oversized fridge, eat-in table with seating for seven. Amazing views from almost every room, including 8 windows in the living room, 3 in the master bedroom, 3 windows and a three paneled sliding glass door in the kitchen and a 6 bay window and large picture windows in the downstairs bedroom. All kitchen items (pots, pans, dishes) and sheets included. Renters bring paper towels, shampoo and food. The house is on municipal water (not lake water) so you do not need to bring drinking water. The west shore of Cayuga lake is steep and so is our property. The driveway is steep with upper and lower parking. There are 28 stairs from upper parking and 35 steps from lower parking to the house. From the house there are stairs to the lake (35) but the view is spectacular and the local ideal. Please look at the pictures for full understanding of the steps required to reach the house from the upper and lower parking areas and to get to the waterfront. Our house uses eco-friendly electricity powered by Solar Farms New York. Bedrooms: Master w/ fantastic views of Cornell and King Bed. Bay Window Room with Fantastic views of the lake and Queen Bed. Purple room with Skylights and 3 Twin Beds (2 can be pushed together). This house has only one bathroom. Please note we only rent to up to two families due to a neighborhood restriction. We do not rent to groups of friends. Winter guests: We deliver property with shoveled steps. Thereafter tenants are responsible for snow removal. Guests may not be able to access the lower parking area, so all tenants must be able bodied and able to walk stairs easily. Wifi is upgraded to Spectrum Ultra which has 400 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speed. We rent only Saturday-Saturday in summer. Please note: Prior to renting, all adult guests must sign a written lease agreement. Guests have access to the entire property including the house, the dock, the deck, the grass by the water, Cayuga Lake, two kayaks, a canoe and life jackets. None, unless necessary. The house is on Taughannock Blvd, route 89. Its only one mile to the Hanger Theater, Cass Park, The Children's Garden and the Ithaca Dog Park. Its only 2 miles to Wegmans and shops. However, you feel a world apart. You will need a car. Pet Fee is $30 You must be able-bodied. There are stairs from the driveway to the house and from the house to the lake. See pictures for details. No additional visitors are allowed on the property without express written permission from the hosts in your agreement. No parties. Strict noise rules apply so our listing is not for everyone.
