Eight bedrooms offer something for every group – and the hot tub, bonfire pit and fireplaces are cozy spots for all your stories and celebrations. Welcome to your hideaway, with spaces and views you won’t soon forget. The space OUTDOOR ADVENTURE LOCATION The Hideaway is tucked away on five acres in the mountain community of Black Forest. Situated among towering pine trees and prairie grasses, Black Forest is only a 25-minute drive to downtown Colorado Springs and about an hour away from Denver. Hiking and biking trails are a stone’s throw away, and there is much more to discover. Outdoor and cultural adventures include the other-worldly Garden of the Gods park, U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, Cave of the Winds Mountain Park and the iconic Pikes Peak (there is a new visitor center at the summit). Explore the region’s Old West heritage by panning for gold at the Western Museum of Mining & Industry or enjoying a chuckwagon dinner and western stage show at the historic Flying W Ranch. RELAXING OUTDOOR AREAS Outdoor areas at The Hideaway encourage guests to relax and enjoy life outside. A breathtaking view of Pikes Peak is the backdrop to a sprawling backyard and luxury amenities. With a plush sofa, grand dining table and BBQ grill, the spacious terrace is a favorite spot for morning hangs and epic sunset dinners. In addition, a room balcony on the second floor offers another fresh-air space. More backyard amenities abound: A secluded hot tub seats 8 people while a bonfire pit comes with Adirondack chairs for s’mores and storytelling beneath the stars. And during the day, a treehouse-style playhouse keeps the kids occupied for hours. 3 LIVING ROOMS & KITCHEN The living is easy at The Hideaway, as there are many gathering spaces and nooks across three floors. Highlights include a farmhouse-style kitchen with state-of-the-art everything and a great room with a massive stone fireplace and two-story window wall (the view is Pikes Peak). Each area has upscale furniture, mountain living decor, and enough room for your whole group to come together. Two additional living rooms – one is a loft space that partially looks upon the great room – have smart TVs for game watching and movie nights. There is also a dining room for fancier dinners and festivities. 8 BEDROOMS With eight bedrooms that can sleep up to 34 people, The Hideaway has enough privacy and bed configurations for groups of every kind. Four impressive master bedroom suites come with en suite bathrooms and some bedrooms offer views of Pikes Peak. GAME ROOM The young and young at heart love the game room which is located in the 3-car garage. Engage in friendly – or fierce – matches and group tournaments with your choice of billiards, ping pong, ice hockey, foosball, shuffleboard or basketball. Back inside the house, don’t miss the collection of board games. 6 FULL BATHROOMS Six full bathrooms have luxury touches including beautifully tiled and marbled floors, modern wood cabinetry, soaking tubs, rainfall shower heads and upscale fixtures and finishes. GUESTHOUSE (ADD-ON) The Hideaway also offers a detached guesthouse for an additional $250 per night (and a $150 cleaning fee). This stand-alone house is located near the entrance, to one side of the main house. It is a cozy abode with a front porch, living room, state-of-the-art kitchen, wood dining booth and two bedrooms. During your stay, only your group is able to rent it should you need more space. The detached guesthouse is available for an additional fee should you need it, otherwise it will not be rented to anyone else during your stay. You can access The Hideaway anytime with our secure, keyless entry. Other things to note CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT Check-in is anytime after 4:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. And based on availability, you can check in any time earlier in the day for a $150 fee. As we may be able to accommodate a late check-out if no guests are arriving the same day, please check with us if needed. WELCOME GUIDEBOOK You will receive a digital welcome guidebook a few days before your arrival that contains all the house information you will need. ADDITIONAL GUESTS There is a $15 fee per person/night for any guests above 10. This helps cover additional wear and tear on the home, higher utility bills, extra paper products and more. Please contact us if your guest count is over 16 as we will add that to the back of the reservation. QUIET HOURS Thank you for observing quiet hours between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. This ensures the peace of the neighborhood and our standing as courteous neighbors. SMOKING To keep The Hideaway fresh and clean for all, smoking is not permitted inside. If smoke is detected, there will be a $300 fee for proper deep cleaning and odor removal.
