Cottage The Barnhouse is the beautifully converted old stable in our beautiful farm in Bergambacht. The layout is very open and feels spacious and light. The Barnhouse is surrounded by meadows, sheep, cows, geese and pollard willows. Behind The Barnhouse is a nature reserve where birds breed. The Barnhouse is fully equipped and is both rural and centrally located between Utrecht, Rotterdam, Gouda and next to the picturesque Schoonhoven. The space Cottage The Barnhouse is the beautifully converted old stable in our beautiful farm in Bergambacht. The space is a separate house with its own kitchen, a spacious sitting room, a spacious dining room, a modern, fresh bathroom, and a spacious bedroom with a large double bed and possibly space for two additional beds. The Barnhouse has spacious floors, real lofts. The whole is therefore very open and feels spacious and light. You have your own modern kitchen, dining and sitting area, and there is an extra room with a washing machine, dryer and an extra freezer. On the first floor there is an 'open plan' bedroom floor of approximately 50m2. There is a spacious double bed as standard and on request it is possible to add two additional beds (for a fee) for children up to the age of sixteen. The bathroom is spacious, fresh and modern. The Barnhouse is surrounded by meadows, sheep, cows, geese and pollard willows. Behind The Barnhouse is a nature reserve where birds breed. The plot is also surrounded by sheep fences. The Barnhouse is adjacent to the south, with your own private terrace of almost twenty m2 and a very large sunny garden. Bergambacht is a 15-minute drive from Gouda, 30 minutes from Rotterdam and, 40 minutes from Utrecht, and 50 minutes from The Hague, Amsterdam and Breda. In 5 minutes you are in the heart of Schoonhoven, and at various large supermarkets nearby. You can book with us from 3 nights. The Barnhouse can also be reserved for a longer period of several months. The maximum length of stay is five months. And you can park two cars free of charge in your own private parking space. We do not serve breakfast, but we can provide you with a deliciously stocked refrigerator. Guest access As a guest you have access to the yard belonging to The Barnhouse, the communal backyard and the spacious private south-facing terrace, adjacent to the Barnhouse. Other things to note We hope to offer you a relaxed and relaxing stay in our old, super attractive farm. We offer you your own house with a nice interior in a beautiful environment. Ideal ingredients to recover from a busy working day or working week! Please note that in Bergambacht, just like in almost all other Dutch municipalities, it is mandatory to pay tourist tax. We ask you to pay this upon arrival.
