Built during the Middle Ages on the ruins of a Roman sacred settlement, the villa acquired its actual appearance during the second half of the 15th century. The family of the current owners, who acquired the property in 1929, over time has continued to take care of the building, which now offers to its guests all the comforts of modern times combined with an irresistible historical setting. The villa hosts a single group of guests at a time, usually on a self-catering basis. The building is a shrine to peace and quietness, as it is located in the middle of a 10-hectare (25 acres) private rural property, with vineyards of the Valpolicella DOC area, olive, cherry and oak trees, and woods. Its charming location is ideal for a relaxing holiday surrounded by vineyards and secular trees, for visiting Verona and enjoying its worldwide famous happenings (Arena Opera Festival, Vinitaly, Fieracavalli etc), as well as for reaching quickly many cultural and leisure sites like Venice, Mantova, Vicenza, Padova, Ferrara, and the Lake Garda. A private swimming pool is available to guests from May 1st to September 30th. Although being completely encircled by beautiful hills and romantic vineyards, the property is easily accessible from the motorways A4 and A22. It is well connected to Verona airport and train station, and by car you can easily reach the most important leisure, business and cultural sites of northern Italy. Many theme parks, shopping centres, restaurants, golf clubs etc are in a range between 3 to 30 minutes by car.
