LIVING AREAS Rich wood paneling and hardwood floors create a cozy vibe throughout the cottage. Spend time together in the open living area: unwind on the comfy sofa or relax while watching favorite shows on the 32” TV. An expansive sunroom offers even more entertaining space, complete with a built-in sectional sofa, a picnic table, two rocking chairs, and kids’ toys. Play a friendly round of ping-pong, or simply take in the sweeping views of the cove. KITCHEN & DINING Create tasty dishes in the newly remodeled kitchen, replete with granite countertops and a full suite of high-end appliances, including a five-burner gas range. BEDROOMS & BATHS This two-story home comfortably sleeps up to eight guests in four bedrooms on the top floor. Two full bathrooms are each stocked with a complimentary starter supply of toiletries and bath amenities. All four sun-drenched bedrooms are furnished with comfortable queen-size beds and offer beautiful views of the peaceful surroundings. The two bedrooms on the eastern side of the cottage have private access to a balcony -- settle into the rocking chair and take in the breathtaking vistas while enjoying a cup of tea. You’ll find a tub/shower combination in the bathroom upstairs and a walk-in shower in the downstairs bathroom. OUTDOOR AREAS Enjoy the fresh coastal breeze and sweeping views from the wraparound covered deck on the first floor, outfitted with four rocking chairs. As evening falls, fire up the charcoal grill for a family barbecue. Please note that the cottage does not have central cooling or heat, although rarely needed with Maine’s mild summer temperatures. THE LOCATION Nestled in the quaint coastal town of Friendship, this property offers an idyllic seaside getaway. When dining out, you’ll find favorite Maine eateries such as Jameson Point Lobster within a mile. For the best pie in the state, hop in the car and take the 10-mile trip to iconic Moody’s Diner. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
