Honey Bee Shepherd's Hut - Hawkshead with Hot Tub

The Honey Bee Shepherd's Hut is an absolute Lake District glamping delight! Situated on the grounds of the former Hawkshead Grammar School, adjacent to the owner's bed & breakfast, you are just a few minutes stroll from the centre of Hawkshead Village and the many shops, pubs and eateries, excellent if you don't fancy cooking. The space The Newly built Shepherd's Hut is of the highest standard, and guests will enjoy the fabulous layout, especially the super-comfy king-size double bed with a glass roof above, a real treat with the dark sky! The Hut has been fitted with a well-appointed kitchenette that includes a small breakfast counter with two stools. A raised log-burning stove sits in the corner of the hut. In addition to underfloor heating, the stove is an excellent treat on chiller nights. A self-contained shower room with a walk-in shower which is mains-plumbed, so excellent water pressure. The enclosed patio area, with an Astroturf surface, houses the hot tub and garden furniture and a secure undercover area for storing walking gear or bicycles. Celebrating a special occasion? The Owners can provide a celebration pack including balloons, banners, flowers or a cake, a bottle of prosecco and chocolates for GBP50 (to be organised with the owners directly) The Hut and the hot tub have glorious views over the established gardens of the B&B onto Latterbarrow, a fantastic walk with great views if you fancy venturing out. Accommodation Summary Underfloor heating throughout, plus a log-burning stove. Open-plan sleeping area with a king-size double bed and storage under. Glass roof above the bed to take in the amazing starry nights. Kitchenette complete with a portable induction hob plate, microwave, sink, Nespresso coffee machine + kettle & toaster, bar fridge, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans plus plenty of cupboard storage. Shower room with walk-in shower, basin and illuminating mirror, complimentary locally sourced Pure Lakes toiletries and a WC. Step out on your own patio decking with the superb Swedish wood-fired hot tub and outdoor furniture to chill out after a day on the fells. Guest access Guests have exclusive us of the wood-fired hot tub and the Hut. Parking is available as is secure storage for bicycles. Other things to note - Honey Bee Shepherd's Hut is designed with adults in mind. It isn't suitable for children or infants, and dogs are not allowed. - Parking is available on site, and storage for bicycles or walking gear is provided. - Arrivals are welcome on any, subject to a minimum of a two-night stay. A 10% discount applies to nights three onwards. - While the Hut is self-catering, for a small additional charge, guests can enjoy a full English breakfast using locally sourced meats and produce in the owner's B&B adjacent to the hut. - The TV in the Hut is a Smart TV. While there aren't terrestrial TV channels (via a TV aerial), you can use online streaming services, including iPlayer, ITVx, Netflix etc. (Own accounts required). - Firewood: The hot tub fire will be laid ready with wood and firelights, and two additional flexi tubs, filled with firewood, is provided (usually enough for two days). Additional wood, if required, can be bought from the local CoOp store.
