There are only 2 "Rift Valleys" on the globe, one being this "Sequatchie Valley," that you will see and cherish; and the other "Rift Valley" being in Africa. Guest access GUEST ACCESS: Enjoy a spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bath cabin, with a roomy loft that accommodates a full size futon; also, both, top and bottom full length porches. Being one of the most unique valleys in the world, the Sequatchie Valley is one of only two rift valleys with the other being in the Great Victoria Valley in Africa. Running for 125 miles and 5 miles in width, the Sequatchie Valley was formed as the plateau literally split apart giving it its memorable shape. (Southeast Tennessee Tourism, 2004.)
