Come stay at our apartment in historic North East, PA! Overlooking Gibson Park, you'll have close access to The Skunk and Goat Tavern, The Bean Coffee House, and many local shops. All while you're in the heart of Lake Erie Wine Country! Be sure to check out our other Airbnb rentals! Park Place is right next door in downtown North East! Eagle's Nest by the Shore is on Lake Erie in North East! Search for Park Place or Eagle's Nest by the Shore, or find the listings under our Airbnb profile. The apartment overlooks Gibson Park, where you can find one location for Wine Festival during the last weekend of September. You'll be right in the heart of historic downtown North East. While the apartment does have newer updates, you'll also find a chalkboard and set of doors from the old Heard Memorial School, a kitchen island made from a Brotherhood of Saint Joseph bowling lane, and original brick walls, along with plenty of other charm in this 100+ year old building. The main room is open concept where the kitchen includes all appliances, utensils, cookware, and dishes you'll need. The kitchen island seats 4 as well as the dining room table. You'll be able to relax on the sectional couch while you watch TV. Please be advised that you'll need to log into your own Netflix, Hulu, etc. as THERE IS NO CABLE IN THE APARTMENT. The apartment includes three bedrooms. Bedroom #1 and #2 have one queen bed each. Climb the spiral staircase to find bedroom #3, which is a loft overlooking the main room and has two queen beds. You'll also have two desks with chairs for dedicated work spaces in the loft. Both full bathrooms are in the hallway between the bedrooms. You'll have access to the entire apartment except for our storage closet in the hallway. We are available by phone or email for questions during your stay. We do not live on the property, but are just about a half mile away in town if you need anything. North East is home to beautiful beaches, award winning sunsets, locally owned restaurants and shops, and lots and lots of wine. The apartment is located in the heart of downtown North East's Main Street. Grab a cup of coffee and breakfast at The Bean, stop into The Skunk and Goat Tavern for dinner and a cocktail, or taste some wine at Yori Wine Cellars. All steps from your front door! Parking is available on Main Street at most times during the day and the parking meters were recently taken out to make it free. It does get busy during the day downtown, so bringing as few vehicles as possible is recommended. There are "no parking 3 am to 6 am" signs on the street outside of the apartment. You are allowed to park overnight across the street on the park side of Main Street. You are NOT allowed to park overnight on the apartment side of the street. It's best to use your own car as transportation if you're leaving the downtown area. Uber and Lyft are sometimes available, but it's pretty hit or miss. Many guests like to rent a limo from a local company for winery hopping!
