The space Our newest apartment is located in the very center of Málaga, next to the Airport Train Stop. Located in a building from the forties, with high ceilings. The buildings exteriors have a very serious and charmeless desing, and yet it is a listed building, witness of the most difficult fourties, the years after Spanish Civil War. Inside, however, feels the same charme as in old buildings, about 3.50 m ceiling height, Art Nouveau floor tiling. In our apartment we could save only a few of these beautiful tiles, as the former tiled above the original ones, and the primer destroyed the stamp color. So we mixed original tiles with old made tiles and Oak planks (no plastics ! Real Oak). Our apartment has about 61 m2 and has two balconies, one in the kitchen (5m2 West facing) and another in bedroom (4.5 m2 North facing). The floor plan is very clever, as towards south the apartment has windows to a functional comunal Patio, towards west to a street San Lorenzo (Calle San Lorenzo) and to the north the road Calle Casas de Campos. On the intersection of the two roads looks your living room with 6 very charming bay windows, with indirect lighting. You don´t need to fear no direct neighbour during your stay in our apartment, except me, because I have my office right next to the apartment. Easily reached by train (last stop, 100m, to / from the airport is 14 minutes) to check in with us and feel at home: Central European living standards (Walk in rain shower, underfloor heating in bathroom, large beds, central heating / - cooling), modern kitchen including oven, new windows in the bathroom and bedroom, etc. The kitchen / dining / living area has 31 m2 and offers a modern and complete fittings. Particularly attractive in the living room bay window with 6 windows and a view of just been renovated building (monument) in front of our Apartment and the Alameda de Colón with its large green palms. The apartment is currently being renovated (former office), so we have no pictures from inside yet. Our street - Calle Casas de Campos - is being turned into a pedestrian zone (finished end of June 2013?). Nearby there are several bike rental shops, so why not discover Malaga by bike? From the apartment you can reach the Cathedral without disturbing traffic. Be reached on foot, all Malaga hotspots, museums, monuments, restaurants and bars. Even the fantastic new harbor invites you to an evening stroll, a wonderful atmosphere, especially in the summer.
