The closest airport is Rockhampton. You can choose from a variety of accommodations options, including a holiday home and cabins. Some offer air-conditioning, a patio, garden views and a private bathroom. At Great Keppel Island Hideaway you will find pristine beaches and gardens. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including snorkeling, fishing, bush walks. The ferry from Yeppoon to the property is available at an additional charge. The bistro style restaurant offers a variety of meals which are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. TThese cabins are right on the beachfront with full sea views over Putney Beach, Middle Island and the bay. They are also in close proximity to the main reception area. All beachfront cabins are air conditioned, ensuite (toilet & shower), have a kitchenette with refrigerator, electric frypan, microwave, dining table and chairs, crockery and cutlery. The outdoor porch has a table setting. Towels refreshed every 4 days with a linen change, or on demand for a charge. Full linen is provided. Please bring your own beach towels. Most of these cabins have 1 bedroom with 2 singles in the main cabin. One has a set of top/bottom bunk beds in a partially petitioned 2nd bedroom. Please note that to get to the property from Yeppoon, you will need to catch a ferry service, organized by the property at a surcharge. It is important that this is organized prior to arrival and that guests let the property know their expected time of arrival as the ferry has limited departing times.
