A classic, sprawling 5000 sft beach home just moments from the ocean--right in the heart of beautiful Long Beach, The City by the Sea. Shops, Restaurants, Sport Bars, Sport Facilities, and Supermarkets are all just a few blocks away. The Long Island Rail Road Train Station too. 20 min cab to/from JFK. 50 min train into Manhattan. 2 min to Beach. This historic mansion has a lovely open feel, large bright rooms, beautiful private outdoor spaces to relax and/or work, and a warm old-world charm. The Bedrooms are on the sunlit second floor: 3 Large Master Bedrooms, all with en suite Bathrooms and Queen size beds Plus 2 Bright Single Rooms with Full size beds in the adjoining wing with a Large Shared Bathroom. There is a lovely, bright and sunny Morning/Breakfast Kitchen (Full Kitchen) upstairs with sliding door access to the sprawling upstairs deck overlooking the street. The deck is South-facing, towards the beach just 5 minutes away, and catches the Sun from sunrise to sunset. The front porch downstairs runs the length of the house along the street as well, with ample seating and a table for a shadier and cooler place to relax/work in the warmer months. For more privacy while outside on the property, there is a large, sunny courtyard behind the house, lined with trees, seating and tables, a BBQ, and an outdoor shower. On the expansive first floor is the very large Main Kitchen with full amenities, an island, gas fireplace, back courtyard access, and dining table. Off the kitchen is the spacious formal dining room. The ground floor here opens up beautifully, each room flowing into the next, separated only by large French doors. From the formal dining room, the doors open to the main entrance room and tiled foyer, which then open directly to the living room with a beautiful, working wood-burning fireplace. Beyond the living room, through the last set of double doors, is the Sun Room which catches wonderful afternoon and evening light. Needless to say, whether you're looking to work, read, listen to music, relax, snooze, etc. there is no shortage of beautiful places to claim and settle into, either for a few minutes alone or gathered with family and friends. Guest access Access is by private code/keypad lock. Multiple Car Parking available in Driveway and on Street. ***Beach Passes, Towels, and Chairs provided*** (Please no Sand inside, there is aboutdoor shower to rinse off) There are bike rental stores moments from the house. Long Island Rail Road Train Station and Taxis nearby. 50 min to Manhattan. 20 min to/from JFK. Other things to note I respect my guests and their belongings, and I kindly ask for the same in return. This is my “happy house,” and it’s very special to me — I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. House Rules: • No parties — my neighbors are wonderful supportive and I do not want to disappoint or disturb them. • Please leave the house clean and tidy, as it was upon your arrival. • No sand inside — there’s an outdoor shower in the backyard for rinsing off after the beach. • If you move any indoor or outdoor furniture, please return it to its original place before you leave. Otherwise, I may need to hire a handyman, which could result in an extra charge — something I’d like to avoid. Just a quick note: the small house on the property is sometimes used as an office. Very occasionally, someone may be there for a short time, but always discreetly. Your privacy and relaxation will never be disturbed. Thank you for your care and understanding. 🙏🏻
