A nostalgic glamping getaway great for fisherman on beautiful Grenell Island. You will be staying in Grenell Islands well known Candy House, where a candy jar is kept along the path for islanders as they make their daily walks about the island. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Enjoy the beautiful St. Lawrence river, clean waters and fresh air to escape the hustle and bustle. A private boat dock is included for your watercraft. Please note:A boat is needed to access this special place The space Your island experience at the Candy house will be similar to “glamping”, lots of nature, nothing fancy… and full of scenic beauty. This space is great for fisherman or small families with kids. The boat dock is about 2-3 minute walk from the cottage, there are wheel barrels to help with your items. The water from the tap is non potable but safe for showers and brushing teeth, you will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a walking path around the island leading to the chapel and the community house where there is a library and ping pong table. There are no cars on the island.
