This Splendid 1936 original Longboat Key cottage is located 1 block from the the bay front and a short walk to the Gulf of Mexico and Whitney Beach. The 440 square foot cottage has recently been fully renovated with new everything... But keeps its old time charm. The cottage is a completely private, tropical oasis. There’s a fabulous outdoor space for dining alfresco or reading and relaxing in the hammock. The Longboat Key Village is a unique quiet residential neighborhood on the North end of Longboat Key. You won’t find hi-rise condos here. You may even see wild peacocks roaming around. Our Cottage is great for families, couples, solo adventurers and business travelers alike. Park right in front of cottage off Poinsetta street and walk in through the gate to the cottage sliding door entrance. There's plenty of room for 2 cars. You have easy access with your own designated parking area. I live next door and am available for any questions that may arise. This fab neighborhood has 4 great restaurants you can walk to! The magnificent waterfront Shore Diner (fine dining) and the Mar Vista both go-to favorites of locals. There’s also the Whitney for casual eats and Isabel's for a great breakfast. A car is recommended to explore all of the keys and Sarasota mainland. There is a free trolly that travels the coast rad all the way to Anna Maria Island.
