Spacious and nicely renovated 1-bed apt w/ private side entrance in W Mt Airy. The apt has a beautiful open space layout w/ large windows and wonderful views of green spaces and old architecture. The apt is clean, quiet, and furnished as seen in pictures. Many great businesses within walking distance and easy access to many other parts of this friendly city. The space Guests have exclusive access to the full apartment which includes one bedroom, one living room, one full bathroom and a full kitchen with dining area. Additionally, guests can enjoy exterior common areas including the front porch. Kitchen - Guest can use dining area, fridge, pots and pans, utensils, dishes, cups and glasses, stove and oven, toaster oven, all kitchen appliances on kitchen counter, and cooking basics (salt, sugar, oil, etc). The kitchen area also has a functional island to be used for meal prep or for dining. Additionally, the dining table is large enough to sit a max of 6 people. *Guest is not allowed to consume any other food items left over by the host in cabinets or refrigerator. Living room - Guest can use TV and access entertainment content through host’s Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Video accounts (already logged in). The living room area also have a desk where guests can work from. The futon in the living room can fold down to a very comfortable full bed to allow a total of 4 guests to stay in the apartment overnight. A second set of sheets and blankets will be provided for the futon for reservations with more than 2 guests. For reservations with less than 3 guests, an extra set of sheets and blankets can be provided for a $10 fee that can be paid via the Airbnb Resolution Center. Bathroom - Guests can use all available shampoo, soap, body-wash and lotion found around sink and shower. Guests will also be given a set of towels and there will be hand towels available. Bedroom - Guests have access to the queen bed, dresser, and desk. Part of the closet can be used to hang clothes. Laundry can be accessed through this bedroom for an additional fee ($5 per load). Guest access This apt is located on the 1st floor of a 3-story Victorian house. The house sits next to the famous Upsala Mansion and across the street from the Cliveden Mansion. Both mansions offers stunning estate views that provide a lot of greenery for guests can enjoy. Guest will have access to one off-street parking space on a private driveway which is part of the property. There is usually plenty of free on-street parking around the block in case guests need more parking options. The neighborhood is easy to explore by foot. It's nice to walk around and bask in the beauty of the many mature trees and beautiful old Victorian houses you'll encounter. Additionally, the neighborhood is sprinkled with quaint shops, eateries, and occasional small museums that guests can enjoy. Other things to note Regarding Covid-19: The apartment is thoroughly cleaned between guests including sanitization of high touch points and areas. The space is ventilated by keeping the windows open during cleaning. Additionally, hand sanitizer stations will be placed around the apartment. Potential for Sounds 2nd Floor Apartment Above: Guests should note that this apartment is located in the first floor with a second floor apartment above. As a result, occasional sounds from above including footsteps and the like will be heard. Trees above Parking Space: Branches from an old historic tree hang over the designated parking space for this listing. Guests are fully responsible for having proper insurance on their vehicle to cover any unexpected damage from falling branches.
