Cloran Mansion (John's Room)

Located on 1.5 acres, the Cloran Mansion gives guests plenty of opportunity to relax, yet it is just a three-minute drive to Main Street and the shops and restaurants of Galena. The Cloran Mansion was built in 1880. The space The Cloran Mansion is part of the historic fabric of Galena. Designed in the style of Italianate architecture, the Cloran stands as a unique building in Galena. John Cloran, an Irish immigrant, owned a grocery store in town and built the house on a 250-acre farm in 1880. Today it's open for all to enjoy! Guest access You will have access to your own room on the second floor of the mansion, a common space with a Keurig coffee machine, tea, cookies, ice, a microwave, popcorn, and a DVD collection of 700 movies. You will also have access to our dining room and 1.5 acres of property complete with a screened-in gazebo, a koi pond, a firepit, and beautiful gardens. During your stay We will check you in upon arrival, show you common spaces and your room, answer any questions we can, and give you the space you need.
