LA LUCIOLE Enjoy a simple nature experience in this warm and intimate chalet located in the heart of wild nature, just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Montreal. You will have a magnificent view of a fen peat bog and absolute tranquility. As soon as you cross the door, time stops, your mind relaxes. The perfect place to reconnect with nature, yourself. Wake up with birdsong, the wind blowing, silence. The space Measuring 16' x 16' and accommodating 2-4 people, the chalet is open plan and features a queen size bed and two single beds on the mezzanine. It is heated by a wood stove, lit by solar energy and fully equipped for cooking (2-ring gas stove and BBQ on the terrace overlooking the lake). The only things you need to bring are your cooler, bath towel, body products, slippers, sandals, headlamp and food. We'll take care of the rest! A refrigerator is available in the main building, a 2-minute walk away if needed Located close to the lake, you can fish for trout for your dinner, take a dip in the clear water or borrow a paddle board and let yourself float to the rhythm of the waves. A little further, explore on foot or by kayak the lake with turtles that is full of life. The chalet does not include a bathroom. An outdoor eco-friendly toilet is located a short walk from the chalet. Beautiful spacious showers and conventional toilets are also available nearby, at our reception building. If necessary, a portable toilet can be made available in the chalet. Please allow for a small surcharge ($10 + taxes). In order to preserve the tranquility of the place, the chalet is accessible by foot only. It is located 2-3 minutes from our main building where you can borrow luggage carts as needed. For a small fee ($15 + taxes), we also offer a shuttle service to transport your luggage until 7:30 p.m. upon arrival and between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. upon departure. Several activities are offered on site. In summer: swimming, trout fishing ($), hiking, relaxing in one of our hammocks, paddle boarding, kayaking. In winter: snow tubing, snowshoeing, outdoor fire. If needed, a few pairs of snowshoes are available at our reception building. Please let us know in advance if you need them. Less than 15 minutes from the chalet, you can go horseback riding, enjoy bike trails, golf, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails, skating, mountain biking and snowmobiling trails, and dog sledding. Other things to note Electricity is supplied using a battery in the chalet, so it is only possible to plug in small appliances such as a cell phone and a tablet. You CANNOT plug in a toaster, coffee maker, raclette oven and dryer in the chalet. BOOKING: Friday, 2 nights minimum.
