Stillwater is located on the Upper Yough Wild and Scenic River Corridor and is close to the Deep Creek Lake/ Wisp Ski Resort area. This is for lodging only. Parties and events are not allowed. We have many amenities including an onsite river tubing, whitewater rafting, an onsite volleyball/badminton court, hot tub, billiards, ping pong and many games! The space *Most of our bookings are 2-4 generation family gatherings which is what the chalet was designed to host *There are now 3 private bedrooms in the loft as of 6-2023. *Host has 15+ years of managing & maintaining VRBO 5 star rating through 3 different rentals that served 20-25 guests each *6000 square foot chalet sleeps 20-25; 20+ beds *10 bedrooms with main chalet & luxury tiny house (~100 feet from chalet; additional fee required); 8 full bathrooms & 2 are ADA compliant; *Parking for 20 or more vehicles *8 miles to Deep Creek Lake area & boat rentals *300+ feet Yough river frontage (WITHOUT neighbors) & access to river trail on state land beside the chalet; Tubing to & from chalet (some gear provided); Yough River is stocked with trout; Fishing gear isn't provided; great white water rafting options within miles of chalet *Fire pit at river bank including wood *Open air outside pavilion/den with see through wood burning fireplace including wood *Many indoor & outdoor games on site & large yard *2 upscale full kitchens & 3 smaller kitchens (6 refrigerators); reverse osmosis water systems for filtered drinking water; 3 outdoor grills; kitchen stocked with cookware and spices; private chef options available locally *High speed internet; 12 smart TV's; Sound system with vrs zones *Central heating & air including a hard wired back up generator *6-8 person hot tub with fresh water between each rental *River tubing to chalet from state trail or from chalet to town park. Some gear provided. *Whitewater rafting close to chalet through commercial outfitters - all skill levels *Hiking from chalet in woods on river trail or in town *Personal concierge to help with pre-planning *Luxury tiny house is dog friendly and the main chalet is not dog friendly. The tiny house is within 100 ft of chalet and is upscale. It has 2 queens, full bathroom, & a small kitchen. There is an additional flat fee of $500 to add the Luxury Tiny House regardless of the number of nights rented. *Out of respect for guests with allergies, the main house isn't pet/dog friendly except the Pavilion Bedroom which has a separate entrance. The entire Tiny House is dog friendly. *3 night minimum from Labor Day through Memorial Day; 6 night minimum for June, July & August *Administrative Fee is $200/night & is used to pay lodging taxes required by law Guest access Guests have full use of the entire home, the covered outdoor den/pavilion area, front and back yards, and river access to the Upper Youghiogheny. OUR CHALET Nestled in the lush and beautiful mountains of western Maryland, Stillwater Haven is a 6000 sq. ft. private luxury vacation home rental near Deep Creek MD and rests along the scenic shores of the Youghiogheny Wild and Scenic River corridor. OUR LUXURY TINY HOUSE Also available is our quaint 2 bedroom cottage located onsite for an additional flat fee of $500. The Tiny House is dog friendly for guests who like to travel with their pups. We respect future guests with allergies, and so dogs are not allowed in the chalet.
