Schoolhouse Rock

"Schoolhouse Rock" is located in Plainville, KS. Originally built in 1915, it served as a schoolhouse in rural Kansas until it was moved into town. Whether you need a place where 8 people can sleep comfortably (6 beds) or only want to use the bedroom on the main floor, the Schoolhouse Rock can accommodate. Located right in-town Plainville (Rooks County). It is 25 minutes directly north of Hays, KS - a great home base for graduations, conferences etc. The space "Schoolhouse Rock" looks like an old school house with its singular outside light over the main door. Floors in the kitchen and on the second floor are retro style. We love them! Beaded walls in the kitchen and bathroom have been repainted and add to the elegance of the home. Guest access There are 4 bedrooms in the home with varying sizes and numbers of beds (6 beds total). Living room has comfortable furniture. Smart TV do you can log into streaming services + has some local channels w/antenna access. WiFi of course. There is a front deck large enough to congregate and relax. Chairs are provided to encourage such lounging during nice weather. An outside entry to the basement provides access to a laundry machine and dyer. The stairs are steep but we provide the detergent & dryer sheets! Other things to note The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are kind. The home is right in-town Plainville and easy to find.
