If you are looking for a truly unique outdoor living experience, this stunning home is the place to be. With its tree filtered, mountainous views on Schroon Lake, (screened) porch gatherings will be remembered forever. Easy stroll/drive to our quiet, child-friendly association beach. Dock space & kayaks. Only a few miles away from trails, attractions, restaurants, golf, tennis, pickleball, marina& market. The house is part of a respectful association. It is NOT a party house. No pets, sorry. The space The house is part of the beautiful, green, and very quiet ADK Pointe Association. It is important that you and your group will preserve the relaxing and quiet atmosphere of the Association. Our preference goes out to multi-families or smaller parties. Please do not consider renting this house if you are a large group of younger adults or adults looking to party. The Association grounds were previously home to "Camp Idylwold". The house is built on a small hilltop within the Association with spacious, private surroundings. From the house there is a gorgeous, filtered top down view of Schroon Lake and the woodsy common areas of the Association grounds. The extra large screened in porch is unique, and when opening the double set of French doors in the living room, it feels like living outdoors 24/7. The house also has a wrap around wooden deck with shade and sun exposure at all times of the day. From the house one can either walk or drive to the beach area following the sandy Association road (speed limit 5mph). There is a portable restroom in the parking lot next to the beach area. On the beach you will find ADK chairs and wooden picnic tables that you are free to use. The beach and marina are very quiet and private, and ideal for child play, fishing, and swimming. Please note that there is no life guard on duty and that children 16 and under have to be supervised by an adults when at the beach/marina area. See the summary above for listing of boats that are included in rental. Use of any of these is at your own risk. We do provide a couple of life vests that you are free to use. The house is sparkling clean, laundry is done on premises, we have a local housekeeper, and there are no pets allowed on the property. There is an extra tv room in the lower level. Game, books, and some toys are available as well. The owners can provide you with lots of ideas about what to do in town or in the area depending on what you and your group are interested in. Schroon Lake has a lot to offer and so does the area. Guest access You will have access to the house and you can use the common areas of the Association such as the ball field, beach, and marina. We provide one boat slip in the Association marina. Boat length 21 feet max. Other things to note NO smoking in house and on premises NO pets Use of wood stove is NOT included. No life-guard on duty. Beach supervision req. for kids 16 and younger. House & Assoc. rules apply. We will ask you to provide the names of all occupants and the ages for children younger than 18 and a copy of your boat registration card (if you use a boat slot in the marina) prior to your arrival; we need to provide this information to the Association board. Boat slot in marina: max length of boat not to exceed 21 ft. No day guests or visitors allowed unless with owner's written consent. No "third party" or "day guest" boats allowed to dock in marina at all times. There is sufficient parking space for up to 4 cars.
