Carriage House & Loft in Manchester Village

Welcome to our farmhouse style carriage house, located in the heart of Manchester Village. Located minutes from ski resorts like Stratton and Bromley, the Battenkill River, Emerald Lake, Mount Equinox, hiking trails and walking distance to local restaurants and shopping, there is no shortage of amazing activities to do year round here in Vermont! The space Our 1800s two-story carriage house is located in Manchester Village. The home offers a cozy farm house style living space with enough room for 7 people to stay comfortably. Downstairs (2 steps up from outside), you can by the original stone wood burning fireplace in the cozy original living area. An updated, small-scale but full-service kitchen features 2 burners, an oven and a dorm-sized fridge. The dining table seats up to 8. There is also a smart TV. The downstairs private bedroom has a king size bed with a secretary desk for those who need to work remotely. The bathroom with stall shower is also on the first floor. Upstairs (accessed either by the interior staircase or separate outside stairs), the old hayloft is now a great room with a daybed, sleeper sofa, game table and second smart TV (great for a teen hangout). There is also another bedroom with king-sized bed on the second floor. NEW AS OF NOVEMBER 2022: New laminate flooring throughout! The 1,000 sq ft newly converted hayloft, which connects via a door on the second floor, is now newly available great room with a daybed, sleeper sofa, game table and second smart TV (great for a teen hangout, or group relaxation after skiiing, hiking or other adventures!). Guest access Guests will have access to the carriage house (excluding the garage). Other things to note Pets are considered. If you are planning to bring a pet, please confirm with us before booking. There is an additional $50 cleaning fee for pets, plus a $100 refundable pet security deposit to cover any damage or additional deep cleaning from pet accidents. The $100 will be refunded after check out if there is no damage or no deep cleaning is required. Any pets that stay are required to stay off of the furniture.
