Guest suite in Holly

Pet Friendly! Private bedroom, recently redecorated, with attached bathroom in our lovely, updated ranch home in Holly, MI. No contact, private entrance. Bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan, large closet with essentials, large sliding door, light blocking drapes, deck overlooking country setting. Central air, microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. Laundry room available for 1+ week stays. Dogs allowed. No charge. Please let hosts know about your dog in advance of making reservation. The space The suite has a microwave, mini frig as well as a coffee maker. TV has basic cable. Longer stays (1+ weeks) have access to the laundry room, chest freezer, toaster, crock pot, double burner, and outdoor grill. Please note that this listing includes kitchenette appliances and is not a full kitchen. This property can accommodate two adult guests and up to two pets. We are not able to accommodate additional adult guests or children. Holly is located in northern Oakland County, MI, about an hour north of Detroit and 20 minutes south of Flint. We are in the country, but very close to shopping, excellent restaurants and activities. Major grocery store, Kroger, is 3 miles away. Easy access to I-75. Only 11 miles from Pine Knob Music Theater, in the opposite direction of traffic. The Renaissance Festival is 7 miles away. Great Lakes Indoor outlet mall is 15 miles south on I75, and Birch Run Outlet Mall is 33 miles north on I75. Quick drive to the Holly Dickens Festival. Guest access Private entrance to the guest suite is off of the back deck. Home has an over sized driveway. Parking available for multiple vehicles, larger vehicles, motorcycles, boats and campers. Please let hosts know in advance if you are bringing more than one vehicle or recreational equipment. Guest parking is in front of the garage and maroon door (this door is not the entrance), on the right-hand side. Please leave room for the host's vehicle on the left-hand side. During your stay Hosts are available for any questions or suggestions via Airbnb messaging. Guests may contact hosts 24 hours a day if they have a question. Hosts leave their cell phone numbers on a card on the bedroom nightstand in case of an emergency. Hosts are available as needed, giving guests their own space and privacy. When making your reservation, please state your approximate arrival time. We have reservations most nights so it is difficult to accomodate early arrivals or late checkouts. We can always accommodate late check-ins. Hosts respect guest privacy. We will not disturb guests during their stay unless there is an emergency that affects guest safety (i e. tornado warning). Other things to note Please let hosts know your approximate arrival time when making your reservation and update approximate time if your plans change. We are booked most nights and we want to have everything perfect for your stay. There is a lock box with the key. Key code will be provided the day before your arrival. Guest suite entrance is beyond the back patio, on the deck, second slider. Shampoo, soap, and blow dryer are available and located in the guest room bathroom. Guests staying 1+ weeks have access to the washer and dryer. No extra charge. There are extra pillows, blankets, towels, and sheets in the guest room. During the cooler weather, there is a space heater in the closet for guest use. TV in the room with basic cable. Although the home and neighborhood are very quiet at night, there is a white noise generator in the guest room for your use. Home has a whole house generator. If power goes off, the generator restores power with 30 seconds to the whole house and all appliances. WiFi password is on a card on the night stand. Suite includes a kitchenette-coffee maker, mini frig and microwave. No full kitchen access. This Airbnb home was built in the early 1960's, prior to 1991 ADA home construction standards for door opening widths and other handicap standards.  We have done our best to make the space accessible to guests with handicaps.  The attached private Airbnb bathroom entrance has a privacy curtain.  This maximizes the width of the door opening for mobility devices. This also allows access to the handicap bar when entering the bathroom, which would not be accessible if a door was in place.  Home is located on a well groomed dirt road. Firepit located on the property is not available for guest use.
