I will rent to a Maximum of a “6 “ person group two sets of adults and two minors , I do have an additional room set up for two additional minors (twin beds ) if requested the ladder in kitchen loft is not in use and the loft above is not part of my offering the Twin rooms with the single beds is accessible via a narrow staircase off the hall way in bedroom wing of home and also has a en-suite 3 pc bath built in 1946 by the Quaker Oats Family as their hunting retreat, Rockfirehouse has been magnificently renovated in 2018 to retain its yesteryear charm but embrace modern needs and comforts , two large stone fireplaces beautiful pine floors manicured yard encompassing over 400 private feet of lakefront a4 season pine log lake house with private and modern amenities, 2 hrs from dwntwn Toronto, property has lots of trees . the home has a 15x15 muskoka room overlooking the lake with 12 foot vaulted ceiling and ceiling fans and a indoor propane fire pit , the home is equipped with full size propane and briquettes BbQ , outdoor fire pit area, 72 inch Tv , wifi , two stone fireplaces , A/c , Tv area and a separate Great Room with panoramic lake views a 2 minute boat ride to the Famous “Jump off Rock “ 20 minutes drive to Bobcaygeon and 10 minutes to Buckhorn the home has a water softener system , back up electric generator and a UV water purification system Please arrange to bring your required FireWood, its generally $10.00 per one cubic foot of dry hardwood and $10.00 for a 1/2 cubic foot of kindling I can also have this arranged for you, * IMPORTANT : the cottage doesn’t have garbage removal services , guest are encouraged to separate garbage type ie : wet dry and recycled and must take it with them at checkout. I will provide you a "prepaid" Dump access card cardboard and paper etc can be perfect for your bon fire starter Guest access Guest access Please arrange to bring your required FireWood, its generally $10.00 per one cubic foot of dry hardwood and $10.00 for a 1/2 cubic foot of kindling I can also have this arranged for you, If your renting in winter I would suggest minimum 0ne cubic bag per fireplace per night 2 if you would like to burn thru out day Private boat launch Private swim dock Accommodations for 6 people the second floor bedroom has two twin beds that can be made into a king bed (this room is accessible via a stair case with en-suite the home has Three 3 piece bathrooms (Walk-in Shower & shower ensuites) TV Washer and Dryer Fully equipped kitchen Coffee maker pots and pans Dishwasher Microwave Stovetop Oven Toaster Dishes and cutlery Large screened in porch/deck with Patio seating and propane barbeque free Wi-Fi Paddle board two adult life jackets Fire-pit for outdoor fires Parking to accommodate 2 cars Bald Lake water quality is tested to ensure it is safe for swimming.
