You are near a ton of cafes, restaurants, bakeries, boulangeries, cheese shops. There's even a Bixi bike station 18 seconds away. The Verdun metro is only 5 min walk away... which can take you anywhere throughout the city without worrying about parking if you desire... You are also 20 - 30 seconds away from Wellington Street... you can't get any more convenient than that... Taking the metro to the historic parts of Montreal and downtown only takes 20 - 30 minutes... A 3 day metropass is very affordable... Exploring the length of Wellington would be an outing of its own. 2 - The CLEAN and COMFORTABLE space has new Ikea spring mattresses and versatile sofas... The kitchen has been renovated in recent years too... 3 - It is also WELL-EQUIPPED and WELL STOCKED with all the things you'll need for your stay whether you're a family or a business traveler or international tourist... Here are 3 THINGS TO CONSIDER before visiting the Montreal apartment: 1 - We live in a residential area, so NO PARTIES are permitted in our home at all times during your stay. 2 - Our BUILDING IS MORE THAN 90 YEARS OLD. Although we put a lot of time and effort to maintain it, the washroom features a BATHTUB, which might not be the best option for people who have mobility problems. The floors are slightly slanted and there's nothing we can do about it since this is very typical of older homes in Verdun. 3 - Like any other older buildings, the walls are not sound proof or sound dampening unlike newer buildings and this is something very typical of all homes built during the 1920s in Verdun Montreal. That said, it's not something that bothers us as residents and that's why we ask all our guests to respect the neighbors and to not be loud or yell or play loud music inside and outside the building at all times during their stay. Also, we expect our Guests to be quiet after 11h00PM. So if you intend to behave like a party animal, our place is not for you but if you intend to behave like a respectful local, you should love your stay. Now that this is clear, let's get to the description of the place! (CITQ establishment number 296323) Guest access Constructed in 1920, this apartment is located on the middle floor of a triplex located at the heart of VERDUN township (city hall is only 7 min walk) and it has been renovated and refurnished to accommodate as much as 6 GUESTS. You are only 3 - 7 minutes walk from the summer and winter festivities that happen regularly on Wellington Street... You do have to climb a spiral staircase to the second floor level... The minute you stroll in, you'll be at ease with this 2 BEDROOM, 526 sq ft apartment with just over 8 foot high ceilings. The kitchen is equipped with NEW POTS AND PANS, REGULAR COFFEE MACHINE, TOASTER OVEN, BASIC COOKING KIT and everything else you can think of to entertain your guests. If there's something you need before you arrive we will try our best to get it and have it ready if you give us advance notice and it is reasonable. The 2 BEDROOMS all have new FULL SIZE BEDS with new bed sheets, pillows and covers. There's 1 Bedroom that is fully closed and as you can see in the pictures, the other bedroom is OPEN CONCEPT. The living room has unique NUGGET SOFA-BEDS that can fit an extra 2 people (for a total of 6 guests). The humble 31" TV has full internet capabilities with NETFLIX, YOUTUBE, FILMS ON-DEMAND, WEB BROWSER, SMARTPHONE SCREEN SHARING and much more. The place also comes with a HIGH-SPEED WIRELESS INTERNET NETWORK. The washroom has a BATHTUB with SHOWER, HAIR DRYER, IRON & BOARD. The kitchen has the stacked WASHER & DRYER so that you can take care of your own laundry when on a longer stay. Other things to note You'll find some FREE PARKING right in front of our property... You just have to be careful about the times the City cleans the street... This means making sure you move your car the night before if they are cleaning the side you are on. Mondays it is the left side of the street between 10 am to 12 pm. Tuesdays it is the right side of the street same hours. The left and right sides are relative to you parking in the direction of the traffic... it's a one way street so it ain't that hard to figure out I assure you... We also have 3 private parking spaces behind our building - if you need help figuring them out just call us or contact us and we'll personally direct you! We'll do our best to guarantee you have your own private parking space before you arrive (hopefully you're not coming in 2 cars!)...
