The Suite Life - In-Law Apt, Private Entry, Fenced

Renovated, pet friendly in-law suite (downstairs unit) with a private entrance and no shared living spaces. Large, shared fenced yard, and 1 mile to downtown So Pines, 6 miles to Pinehurst Resort, 13 miles to Carolina Horse Park. King size bedroom, small sleeper sofa, Keurig, a new kitchenette with oven, microwave, full size refrigerator, 50in Amazon Fire TV to link your accounts and independent thermostat. A washer/dryer makes it great for short term leases! Looking forward to hosting you! The space The Suite is an attached, private apartment in the lower level of a single family home with a separate entrance from the upstairs main house and no shared living space between the main floor and the suite (there is one door at the top of the steps that remains locked). To enter the Suite, the path from the driveway is sloped gravel and there are four steps that a guest must be able to get up and down. This may not a good fit if stairs or gravel walkways are difficult to navigate for you. The Suite has its own thermostat and air return, completely separate from the upstairs. The large 13×15 bedroom features a King size bed, desk, and good sized closet. There is a restroom with a large mirror and vanity light, a separate standup shower with laundry (full size washer and dryer!), and kitchenette with all the essentials for basic cooking including a full size refrigerator and oven, microwave, toaster oven, and hot plate. The Suite is freshly renovated with a cozy boho decor feel. PLEASE NOTE: The upstairs is also an AirBnb, so there will be some footsteps/normal activity during the day. I do have quiet hours but if you are looking for a totally quiet stay, the Suite may not be the best fit for you! I also list The Ace Cottage nearby that is a detached 1B/1B that is quiet and detached from the main house and might be better for your needs if you'd prefer not to hear foot traffic/talking noises. I recently installed an Audimute (the type of product people use to make recording studios in their houses!) sound barrier to help dampen the sound between up and downstairs but this is not a 100% fix and I want to be as transparent as possible about what you can expect during your stay. Please note, the fenced back yard is a shared space. If your pet cannot be with other animals, this stay may not be the best fit for you. While I do my best to communicate between guests, I am not always able to predict if guests will bring pets and I would hate for something out of my control to disturb you or your pet. As noted above, the Ace Cottage listing may be more suitable if you are concerned about sharing the yard with other pets. Guest access Laundry room is co-located with a standup shower in the suite. There is a large fenced back yard and a firepit guests are welcome to enjoy. The backyard is shared with potential upstairs guests and their pets. Please use the provided metal firepit and fully extinguish all embers. Other things to note Please review the check in instructions for the parking map and avoid blocking any other vehicles in. The driveway for the Suite guests is gravel just professionally redone in June 2021! If the gravel is problematic with your specific vehicle, there is parking about 30ft away along the road in the pinestraw that is an easy alternative. I recommend guests who choose this property are capable of walking on gravel/stone pathway to ensure safe and comfortable access from the car along the gravel path to the Suite entrance at the rear of the house. There are also 4-6 stairs guests will need to navigate. Please send me a note if you plan to have a second vehicle to deconflict parking with upstairs guests. Thank you!!
