Cozy glamping on our mini ranch in SW Austin. Relax among the stars at night, horses, chickens, wildlife and peace of the country or head out for all the beautiful & weird that Austin has to offer. Music, food, nature are everywhere. Just outside of Austin-15 mins to S Congress, downtown, Town Lake, Barton Springs, Zilker Park, COTA, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, music venues & eateries, Austin Zoo, charming Dripping Springs & the gateway to Hill Country-so much to do! The space We have the best of both worlds here, being away from the hustle of the city but oh so close. Central Texas boasts activities and events for just about every lifestyle and we are minutes to all of them. Chickens, horses, dogs and even wildlife make their home here with us. We're a little bit country and a little bit rock n' roll. :) Guest access Please enjoy the property and interact with the chickens as they free range. They are amusing creatures. Please look at but don't feed the horses (or chickens) as they are on a strict diet for their health. It’s Texas. It’s ranch type land. There are rocks and tree roots, dirt and mud and yes, horse manure. There are all kinds of wildlife that allow us to share the property with them. Bring your boots if you’ve got em, and please be respectful of all the critters. And please be aware of your surroundings-watch the ground for things to step in and/or trip over. This is an injury free zone. :) Other things to note My listing currently offers a maximum of a 5 night stay. We will consider longer stays with an additional up front cleaning deposit to be returned if the property is left as it was found. We’re sorry we have to do it this way, but unfortunately, one less considerate guest forced our hand on this one. Also, my listing states that it is not available for events or parties, but our property is perfect for a social gathering or a photo shoot. Please ask if you want something more than just a stay here. I will consider that with an additional fee and deposit. RV life is a bit different from living in a house or apartment. It's a fun adventure and super comfortable & cozy, but as far as showers, for example, we're more camping and less The Ritz. Austin is always a popular destination, however, you might be here for an Austin event-SXSW, ACL, F1. Like anywhere, when we are filled with visitors, everything is just that much busier and ride share prices can go up. Forewarned is forearmed.
