Tranquil New Hope Guest House

As you exit your vehicle and push open the double burnt sienna gates, you'll be transported into a hidden garden oasis - you have arrived at your tranquil destination. Lush landscaping surrounds this enchanting, modern guest house. With the coziness of a cottage, but the comforts and amenities of functional design, the guest house will be your home-away-from-home. Enjoy the central location, only a 3 minute drive to downtown New Hope. The space The space This guest house is a spacious, light-filled environment with loft-like ceilings, beams, and large windows, featuring tons of original artwork (some by the owner). The bedroom has a King-sized Tempur-Pedic mattress with adjustable positioning. Enjoy ample closet space, a mounted television, and excellent reading lights. The living room has two, seven foot windows that brings the outside in. Outfitted with an additional large TV, a designated workspace, and dining table (with four stools), the space is multi-functional. The bathroom includes a jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and an array of personal care products such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, shampoo & conditioner, soaps, lotion, bath salts, safety pins, shaving cream, spray deodorant, etc. The kitchen is fully equipped for any cooking and washing needs. We have everything from pots and pans, to olive oil and an array of spices. We provide a Keurig, Nespresso, and drip coffee machine - all coffee and pods are supplied. The refrigerator is always stocked with half & half, bottled water, and Pellegrino. On the counter you will find artisanal snacks, oatmeal, and my famous homemade walnut-chocolate chip-banana bread. There is a stackable washer and dryer in the kitchen with all laundry supplies provided. The guest house has its own patio, seating, and canopy daybed, surrounded by lush landscaping. There is also a small fountain, fire pit, and artist's studio. The Property The guest house is situated on a 3 and a half acre estate that consists of a main house and an additional guest house. Enjoy waking up surrounded by the beauty and tranquility that our green setting provides. Our extensive gardens have been featured in magazines and on garden tours. The Location Although the guest house is located on a quiet road, it is just a 3 minute drive into the heart of downtown New Hope. We do NOT recommend walking into town from the guest house. The area is a thriving destination due to its proximity to Peddler’s Village, Lambertville, and the countless river towns that line both sides of the scenic Delaware River. Whether you enjoy shopping, antiquing, hiking, wineries, live music, strolling or biking along towpaths, eating at new restaurants, or seeing a show at our historic Bucks County Playhouse, this quaint area offers something enjoyable for everyone. The guest house is right down the street from Bowman’s Wildflower Preserve, Washington’s Crossing State Park, and the walkable Canal Tow Path. Guest access Guests have their own private entrance, driveway, and patio. Guests are welcome to enjoy the views of the property from the guest house area. The pool and hot tub are not part of the AirBnB stay. Other things to note We have one honey bee hive of non-aggressive bees. They are quite a distance away, on the opposite side of the property.
