The space Our cottage is thoughtfully designed to host large families and groups. The cottage has large open rooms that flow into each other centered around the dinning area. Natural light floods though the space and keeps you close to outside. The English farmhouse table seats 12 with 4 additional stools at the island. Huge, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need from a Kitchen Aid mixer and Vitamix to brand new Wolf Professional range and toaster over, even an extra refrigerator in the large laundry room! Decor: Antiques from England, France, Morocco and Spain. Persian rugs, original artwork, Anthropologie beds and bedding, antique shaker furniture, antiques and artifacts from lake houses around the BAY area, Hudson Bay blankets, huge new Frame TV, salvaged wood furniture from Restoration Hardware. Outside: The backyard is spacious with an English feel as we will have a crushed stone seating under string lights that leads to the deck. The tree swing and rarely used back alley (awesome for kids to ride bikes/scooters) sets the tone for easy summer living :) We have a Weber gas grill for you. You will be comfortable and peaceful in the space surrounded by mature trees. Enjoy the propane fire pit in the evenings. Location: There truly is not a better location or cottage to host a large group in Charlevoix. Steps from the draw bridge and Lake Michigan but still tucked in a neighborhood away from car noise.
