The property borders State land on the west so there's exploring galore. Leave the cabin on your bike or x-country skis. At the end of the driveway, using Gunn Ranch Road north, you are on the Methow Trail system of over 300 miles of trails. The cowboy cabin is the perfect location to work from home. The cabin has a very large open concept main area with plenty of seating around the beautiful granite cooking island. Livingroom has a river rock, wood burning fireplace, and is equipped with smart TV for your streaming account, or local antenna programming. The wifi is the premium plan available at its location @ 10/3 mbs and will support video conference calls. We have many games and puzzles for your downtime. Enjoy the outdoor patio firepit while panning the valley view below from your comfy adirondack chair. Your pet is welcome at the cowboy cabin. A large padded nighttime sleeping pen and bowls are provided, so bring his favorite blanket. During the months of November through March, there will be snow. Be prepared for all weather conditions with your AWD vehicle and tire chains. There is self check-in with a code lock on the front door. Hearing coyote howls echoing in the hills is my favorite sound. There is an elusive arctic weasel and the deer strolling through is common. Biking and cross country skiing right out the front door. You can definitely "get away from it all" here. Downtown Winthrop is just 2 miles away, so you can walk or ride a bike . There is a bus that runs from Winthrop to Twisp, but no taxi service. Nearby is Valley Sport Trail System, rated one of the nation's top nordic ski destinations offering 175 km of groomed trails, with classic and skate ski platforms. Snowmobile rental is nearby with miles of groomed forest service roads to explore. Loup Loup pass is 30 minutes away. In winter, AWD /4WD and carry chains is necessary. In the summer and fall the trail system and backroads offer great mountain and road biking and hiking. Check out Methow Trails website. You are at liberty to check-out at anytime during the 30 days, but must book for 30 night minimum, due to zoning requirements. During snow months, the driveway is on a plowing schedule and because of the incline, is sledding and snowboarding fun for all. Bring an all wheel drive vehicle and tire chains to be prepared for all winter weather conditions. Your pet is welcome at the "cowboy cabin".
