Loafers Glory

Located in the town of St. George you will discover and fall in love with the mid coast Maine villages of Tenants Harbor and Port Clyde. Loafers Glory is perched on a hillside with unobstructed views of the Port Clyde Harbor, Hupper Island and Muscongus Bay. From the front porch you can watch the hustle and bustle of the dock in the morning hours, be lulled by the gentle ebb and flow of the mooring sailboats and bear witness to some incredible sunsets. The space Loafers Glory is a lovely combination of new and old décor. The cozy retreat is located on the quiet residential street, Factory Rd. It’s often stopped on by travelers to capture a quick picture of a painted sky at sunset. Guests should note there are a few steps to climb to get into the home. Loafers Glory can comfortably sleep eight. The main level bedroom has a queen bed, the upstairs loft has 2 queen beds and the upstairs bedroom has a king bed. There are 2 full bathrooms with beautifully renovated walk in showers. All kitchen appliances have also been updated so guests can comfortably prepare meals throughout their stay. To ensure guests are comfortable during the summer months Loafers does have central air mini splits. There is also a propane gas grill (propane included) for guests to use and enjoy. The home is equipped with high speed internet, Netflix and Hulu streaming. There are two flat screen TVs, one in the living room and one in the main level bedroom. The cozy den has an electric fireplace for guests to enjoy on cooler days and nights. There is a washer and dryer located in the basement for guests to use.
